Western civilization and freedoms are being destroyed. This urgently needs to be reversed and it needs to start last year. This is an emergency.

Abortion is not health care. Abortion is a devastating loss of life. A death sentence. Pronounced by a desperate or dismissive mother. Carried out by a diabolical physician and industry capitalizing on darkness. It is not something to be protected and promoted. – at Cresson, PA

I just had a very disturbing conversation with a young man in the sauna at my local gym. After exchanging some basic pleasantries, the conversation quickly moved to his family roots in Qatar. He told me about his father being mistreated there, despite "building much of the country's infrastructure." Without prompting, he made several remarks regarding the state of the Middle East, and before I knew it, we were talking about Israel. He explained to me that global terrorism, and especially terrorism in Israel, was natural. "It's because people are trying to break out of prisons," he said. "Gaza is a concentration camp." While I repeatedly disagreed with him in a polite and measured tone, he grew more and more excited. "The only sovereign nation in the Middle East is Iran!" he told me. "How's that working out for them?" I asked. He also explained to me that "Israel has killed more children than any other country." I asked him about the horrific deaths of children in other wars, to which he had no answer. I asked him about Hamas using the people of Gaza as human shields. He refuted that, as well, suggesting that Hamas wouldn't harm children. He then went on to explain that eventually, the Jews will be outnumbered — and that in time — Israel will be overrun and undone. He seemed exhilarated by the thought of it. "It's getting too hot in here," he said — before abruptly leaving. I just stood there stunned. By all accounts, a normal, probably well-educated young man in Canada, defending terrorism, celebrating the strength of the Iranian regime, and openly predicting Israel's destruction. As I got changed and headed home, I couldn't stop thinking about our talk. There was no green bandana or inverted red triangle — but it was clear how he felt about the situation. How he viewed the world. There are thousands and thousands of young people like this here in Canada, and throughout the West — and in time — we're going to pay a civilizational cost for not addressing this problem when we had the chance.

PLEASE REMEMBER: once your culture is gone, it is not coming back. Government education has DELIBERATELY failed to teach the Great Books — the pillars of Western Civilization — for decades. This is how you erase a culture: by eroding its roots. That's why we started our independent group to study the Western canon. If we’re to keep our civilization, we must continue the Great Conversation upon which it was built. The careful study of our roots is essential. Western Civilization has given us the greatest works in history, but it takes effort and an open mind to read them. Read properly, Homer, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Dante, Shakespeare, and Milton are not mere names in a syllabus but guides to more beautiful life. Join our reading group. Study the great works with us. We read a new classic every 4-6 weeks, and meet biweekly to discuss. Take out a paid membership if you'd like to support our mission and join the discussions directly — it makes a huge difference to the time and resources we can dedicate. You'll get: - Live book club discussions (biweekly) - Essays to guide you through the Great Books - Access to our incredible community chat - All past recordings, essays, and podcasts - Ability to vote on what we read next... athenaeumbooks.com/welcome See you inside.

"Mother Who Jumped from the Train – Czechoslovakia, 1943. A Jewish mother on a transport train to Auschwitz broke a window and pushed her young daughter out into the snow as the train slowed on a bend. She kissed her once and whispered, “Run.” The girl landed in a ditch, bruised but alive, as the train roared away. Villagers found her and kept her hidden until the war’s end. She never saw her mother again, but for the rest of her life, she told people: “My mother gave me my life twice—once at birth, and once on that train.”

This is perfectly correct - European MEN need to listen here.

In only 11 more days, Said Abdelrazek converted from Islam to Christianity and wasnt ashamed ✝️ For that, Egypt locked him in 10th of Ramadan Prison. He was hung in a crucifixion position so guards and inmates could mock him. They removed a cross tattoo off his body. He still would not recant. On July 15, 2025, they arrested him againthis time for trying to change his ID to match his faith. The charge: terrorism. The real reason: he left Islam. His health is collapsing. Medical care is being withheld. His next hearing is November 3rd 2026. That date could decide whether he lives or disappears💔 This is not terrorism. This is apostasy treated as a national-security crime.Remember those in prison as if you were there with them. (Hebrews 13:3) Demand his release. Share his name. Do not let this stay quiet. Said Abdelrazek is in an Egyptian prison because he became a Christian. They hung him in a crucifix position. They tried to remove his cross tattoo. Now they call it “terrorism.” Hearing: November 3rd, 2026. He could face death or life in prisoom. Stand with him. #WWJD #FreeSaidAbdelrazek #ReligiousFreedom #EndChristianPersecution #11Days

It was truly awful to see that not a single bishop turned up for the remembrance of Ann Widdecombe in the House of Lords. A woman of deep, unwavering Roman Catholic faith, Ann centred her entire life and political career on her Christian beliefs, from her principled stands on life issues to her tireless advocacy for persecuted Christians. Her devotion to both Church and country was total and courageous. Even if they disagreed with some of her views, the least the Lords Spiritual could have done was show basic respect for her lifelong dedication. Instead, their absence speaks volumes: too lost in woke values, lacking the courage to honour a woman of real conviction. A sad reflection on where parts of the establishment Church have drifted. Rest in peace, Ann, you were a true servant of faith and principle. 🙏

Absolutely incredible. Hero and saint ++++
The Nazi guards never heard the baby crying inside her toolbox. If they had, 2,500 children would have died. In 1942, a 32-year-old Polish social worker named Irena Sendler walked into the Warsaw Ghetto carrying a simple toolbox. She had a permit to check for typhus outbreaks. The guards waved her through. Hidden beneath the wrenches and rags was a six-month-old baby. She walked past armed soldiers and handed the child to a Polish family waiting outside the walls. The next morning she walked back in and did it again. For three years Irena smuggled approximately 2,500 Jewish children out of the Warsaw Ghetto. She hid infants in toolboxes, sedated children and smuggled them in coffins, concealed them in ambulances under stretchers, and used sewer pipes. Every child received a new Polish name. Irena recorded everything—real names, new names, locations—on tissue paper sealed in glass jars and buried in a friend’s garden. By October 1943 the Gestapo caught her. They tortured her, broke both her legs and both her feet, and beat her unconscious. She gave them nothing. After months they sentenced her to death. The night before her execution, the underground bribed a guard. He led her out and recorded her as “executed.” She went immediately back to work and continued until the war ended. When the war ended she dug up the jars and spent months trying to reunite children with families. Most parents had died in the camps. For decades almost no one knew about her. Then in 1999 four teenage girls in Kansas found a brief mention of a woman who had saved 2,500 children. They researched and wrote a play. At age 89 Irena Sendler became famous. She was honored by Pope John Paul II and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. She died in 2008 at age 98. One estimate suggests those 2,500 rescued children produced approximately 6,000 descendants. She was a social worker with a permit and a toolbox. She walked into hell every day for three years and walked out carrying children. The Nazis broke her legs. They couldn’t break her will.

Britain Debates Conscription. Into What Army? Britain is talking about conscription again. One historian suggests unemployed graduates could be first in line. Those who refuse might face fines. Russia threatens British interests. Warnings of wider European conflict grow louder by the month. Before deciding which young Britons should be sent to fight, there is a simpler question nobody in Westminster wants to answer first. Fight with what? The 2025 Strategic Defence Review already told us the answer, and it was not reassuring. Decades of reduced capacity have left the Armed Forces thin, ammunition stockpiles low, reserves weak and the defence industrial base shrunk. The review called for a whole-of-society approach, recognising that modern war demands factories and engineers as much as soldiers, supply chains as much as rifles. Britain read that review. Britain has done little to answer it. Successive governments spent the peace dividend after the Cold War. Budgets were cut. Military establishments shrank. Industrial capacity withered. Yet Britain kept speaking as though it remained a major military power, all while quietly hollowing out the means to act like one. Ukraine has shown the world what industrial warfare actually consumes. Ammunition disappears in weeks. Equipment is destroyed faster than it can be replaced. Stockpiles built for a different era vanish within months of serious fighting. Now the state proposes to ask young civilians to make up the shortfall. Historian David Swift suggests unemployed graduates might be conscripted first, on the grounds that the policy would prove popular. Popular with whom? Certainly not the graduates being called up. Unemployment is not a military qualification. A degree is not evidence of combat readiness. Recruitment built on who is least likely to object is not recruitment built on who the country actually needs. Fairness matters here too. If conscription is genuinely necessary for national survival, the burden must fall according to principles the public can see and test. Essential civilian work would need protection. Conscientious objection would need proper process. None of it means anything without instructors, equipment and the command structures to turn recruits into soldiers rather than bodies in uniform. A state that conscripts thousands without the capacity to train them has not strengthened its defence. It has created a queue. Sixteen months after the Strategic Defence Review exposed Britain's military weaknesses, the government is still developing legislation to strengthen its ability to mobilise military personnel and increase industrial capacity in a crisis. Ministers acknowledged earlier this month that the details remained unfinished. Britain needs to know whether its factories, supply chains and industrial workforce could sustain a prolonged war. Yet even the legal framework for preparing the country remains incomplete. Russia's nuclear arsenal makes direct confrontation a serious danger, which is precisely why credible conventional deterrence and NATO's collective defence matter so much. Weakness invites aggression. Strength does not guarantee peace, but it narrows the room for miscalculation, and narrowing that room is the entire point. Politicians owe the public an account before they start drafting lists of who might be compelled to serve. What happened to the forces, the factories and the stockpiles that defence used to rest on? A generation should not be handed the bill for three decades of political neglect without first being told how it accumulated. If Britain is serious about preparing for war, rebuilding the means to deter one would be the sensible place to begin. Conscription without capacity is not a defence policy. It is a slogan wearing a uniform. "Historian David Swift suggests unemployed graduates might be conscripted first, on the grounds that the policy would prove popular."

🚨This is a MUST READ: it’s a post from a French Citizen: Brivael Le Pogam, this is the best description of what has occurred in France I have seen, read his words: Le Pogam: “To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad: Do not blame the French people for this. We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no. Here are the numbers your media won't show you. 70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today. 79% want a tougher immigration policy. 77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration. 83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home. And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years. This is not a fringe. This is the French people. In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again. That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway. So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations. In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders. It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed. What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it. The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did. So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this." The French never chose this. They were forced into it. If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us. If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.” Hope that wakes you up… Vote RED 🇺🇸

WHEN YOU VISIT A PRIEST, PLEASE REMEMBER...🇻🇦 That a priest isn't married, nor will he have a family of his own. No wife, no children. His family is his parishioners. He is a spiritual father in faith to the community he serves. His future is in celebrating the Eucharist at mass every day, listening to confessions, anointing the sick, serving those who come to him for help. A priest may serve a parish only for a minimum of five to seven years. After that he may be transfered to another parish or assigned a different role in the Church. He relies on his team of volunteers, staff and the lay faithful. Don't expect him to be there all the time for you. When you give money to the Church, you may be surprised to know that the money isn't for him because no priest earns a fixed salary. They receive a stipend to meet their basic expenses of food, clothing and travel. They save every penny to go for a vacation and much of the money is gifted by friends, relatives and well wishers as they don't get paid leave like the rest of us who work. While we work for a fixed amount of hours with two days off a week , priests are expected to be on stand by 24/7. So don't be angry if they don't respond to you when you need them. They are humans as well with the same frailty as us. If you hear anyone speaking badly about a particular priest, please correct that person and don't engage in idle gossip without knowing the facts. Remember that they are alone and at times would need company. Pay attention to their emotional, physical and mental needs. Accompany them if needed or offer a helping hand or even a lift. It's not easy to go out alone at 2 or 3 in the morning especially in dangerous neighborhoods for counseling or even anointing someone on their death bed. If someone comes to them at such an hour for help, they have to get up from their deep sleep and still be expected to celebrate Mass in the morning. Who is there for them when they are ill or have emergencies in the middle of the night? Yet they are required to perform their duties because if not them, who? Remember their birthdays, ordination anniversaries and important events in their lives. Celebrate with them, cry with them. Offer a shoulder to lean on. If they fall, don't judge or criticize. Lift them up and help them on their journey in life. Don't be offended if they don't live up to your expectations. No priest is perfect. So take care of your priests, remember the ones who baptized, confirmed, married and anointed you. The ones who offer masses for your intentions and pray for you. May God bless our priests in Jesus name, our eternal High Priest. Amen.
