Even with Eby's proposed tax increase for "the wealthy", BC taxes on those earning over $400,000 a year will remain the 3rd lowest in Canada and 2nd lowest on annual incomes of $25,000.

Lorne Doerkson won't answer media questions about his plan - but Elections BC filings show he's been busy with private fundraisers for max donors.
At this one yesterday, he promised to scrap David Eby’s housing plan, which would send housing costs skyrocketing again.
With two more private fundraisers today, what else is he promising donors that British Columbians will pay for?

I got my flu and covid vaccines today and the pharmacist who gave them to me is most concerned that shots like this and the RSV, which is free to Seniors 75 and over may not be available if government should change. I wonder if BCers realize how this is b/c we have NDP.

Being an MP is a full-time job.
Period.
I can’t imagine any MP who is truly engaged in their duty having a single minute to devote to a second job.
It also leads to questions of conflict of interest and divided loyalties.
IMO, secondary employment for MPs should be prohibited.
Editorial | MPs should take their jobs seriously and remember that by taking second paid jobs, they could end up damaging their parliamentary careers.
