A few curious cows stopped by the site to check things out. Whether they were curious about public safety communications or simply interested in the equipment, these unexpected visitors certainly caught our attention.

Michigan fall provides a beautiful backdrop for an MPSCS tower supporting the reliable public safety communications that help keep first responders, dispatchers and communities across the state connected.
A tall tower and beige utility building stand in a field of dry grass, framed by a forest of autumn trees with orange and yellow leaves. A bright rainbow arcs across the sky behind the tower, beneath dramatic, stormy clouds.

Teamwork was put to the test during our division meeting’s “Tape It to the Limit” challenge! Using only index cards and masking tape, teams built towers to compete for height and strength. Team 5 took home the win and had one message: Team 5 Rocks!
A worker wearing a yellow hard hat and safety harness stands on a tall metal tower next to a section wrapped in masking tape and blue index cards. The wrapped section has "TEAM-5 ROCKS" written vertically on it in black marker. The worker is looking at the camera. The background shows a clear blue sky and a vast expanse of green trees and fields below.

Another unexpected visitor at an MPSCS compound. A snapping turtle stopped by our Cedar Springs tower, proving once again that you never quite know what you will encounter while working at an MPSCS site.
A snapping turtle rests on a bed of light gray gravel. A yellow measuring tape, marked with black numbers and lines, is laid across the gravel and the object, indicating a measurement.
