Sources: Mississippi State star QB Kamario Taylor will miss the rest of the season, as he faces surgery on his injured toe. Taylor has an appointment today to get his toe checked out by a specialist and could have surgery as early as tomorrow. He’s expected to make a full recovery.

NEWS RELEASE  Alabama Man Arrested in Starkville, Held for Extradition October 4, 2026   The Starkville Police Department arrested Stephen Shirley (41, West Blocton, Alabama) and charged him with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Shirley was approached by officers throughout the interaction he refused to identify himself.
