I make Magic the Gathering content and cast too many Eldrazi probably… Wait, that’s not a thing, you can never have too many Eldrazi! @MTGRecon Everywhere!

This does not make me feel good about my chances of picking up the Marvel Secret Lairs.

I just hit 50,000 subscribers on @YouTube, and to be honest these numbers don't feel real. I've had so much fun these past couple of years and have lots of fun plans for the future. THANK YOU all so much for helping me get here, and I hope you're excited for what's to come!

In partnership with the Commander Rules Committee, today we're starting a conversation about changes to the management of Commander and its future: magic.wizards.com/en/news/an…
It is officially the one-year anniversary of me posting daily! It's been a crazy year. I would not have been able to do this without all of you, and so I just want to say THANK YOU!
I thought some people might find the growth after one year to be interesting:
It's @MTG_Arena Streamer Event time!
Come say "hi" as I play with some brand-new #MTGDuskmourn cards on this early access account, curtesy of Wizards!

I am super excited to announce that I'll be LIVE playing in the @MTG_Arena Duskmourn Early Access Streamer Event this Wednesday (Sept. 18th) at 2:00PM PT!
Thank you to Wizards for giving me access to this Early Access account!

It's like Adventures, but both halves are permanents. That's pretty cool. Not sure how I feel about the frame, but I'll have to see them in paper before I have my full thoughts.

The doll is in your eyes and in your arms and in your head...🎶

Ever since we've switched to this whole "one planeswalker per set" thing we've gotten some very cool designs for planeswalkers, and this continues in that realm. I love it!

Unless @MTG_Arena changes how they normally do bans, if you craft these cards today (8/26), then you should get the wildcards back tomorrow when they get banned out of Explorer.
They're still playable in Historic/Timeless/Brawl (and Standard for Amalia), so it's just free value.
Today's update to the Banned & Restricted list impacts Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, and Vintage.

Wait, Alchemy Bloomburrow came out? Well, here are my favorite cards from it in no particular order.
This card has seen a couple reprints recently, including its new reprinting in #MTGxAC
I mean at least it’s a decent card that’s seeing this many reprints 🤷♂️. I just don’t know if I need more of them.
Let's break down this Festival in a Box for MagicCon Vegas to see what value you can get from it.
Festival in a Box MagicCon Vegas comes with the following:
1. Mystery Booster 2 Booster Box (24 packs)
2. An exclusive Secret Lair drop
3. A promo pack containing various MagicCon promos for the year
4. A Wilds of Eldraine Collector Booster
5. A Lost Caverns of Ixalan Collector Booster
6. A Commander Masters Collector Booster
All for the price of $249.99, so let's see what the value of all of those things are.
Let's skip the Mystery Booster 2 box for now since we don't know what pricing will look like for it yet, we'll look at it at the end.
The Secret Lair Drop is foil so it'll go for $40 by itself.
The Promo Pack contains 4 non-foil cards:
1. Ponder (MagicCon Chicago) - Current Price: $28
2. Swords to Plowshares (MagicCon Amsterdam) - Current Price: $40
3. Convention Maro (Playlets Card) - $???
4. Full Art Plains (MagicCon Vegas?) - $???
The Convention Maro and Full Art Plains don't have current pricing, but I expect them to be in a similar-ish range to the other two (although maybe lower for the Plains since its a Basic)
A Wilds of Eldraine Collector Booster is going for about $30 right now.
A Lost Caverns of Ixalan Collector Booster is going for about $35 right now.
A Commander Masters Collector Booster is going for about $60 right now.
So if we add all of the known values together we get a value of about $233, leading the Mystery Booster 2 Box, the Promo Plains, and the Promo Playtest card being a combined $17 cost.
Now, the value of the other promos is likely to fluctuate and is adding $68 worth of "value" to this Festival in a Box, but if you don't value them at that high, it's essentially $85 for a Mystery Booster 2 Box and 4 promos.
The box goes live August 19th, and is the only way outside of conventions to get your hands on Mystery Booster 2.

There are a TON (like over 1500) of cards in Mystery Booster 2 (MB2), so I thought I'd put together a little 🧵 talking about some of the most interesting inclusions. #MTGMystery

Now let's talk about some of the exciting Future Sight frame cards, including some of the most expensive:
Norwood Priestess - $78.87
Hunting Cheetah - $62.97
Control of the Courts - $41.47
Rot Hulk - $32.28
And as with Mystery Booster 1, there's some cool, non eternal-legal Playtest cards, including some that have been Unknown cards in @GavinVerhey's Unknown events at MagicCons. Here are some of my favorites:
