In our annual Chapel Hill town survey released last night, residents resoundingly responded that "parks, greenways and recereation facilities" should be the TOP priority for Chapel Hill town leaders. I agree - we should be improving our parks, not selling them off!

Chapel Hill is selling and developing public parks and conserved open space - bought with voter-approved park/open space bonds or donated. Much better land options for more affordable housing exist, starting with an empty airport in the middle of town.
