Today we had the privilege to be with @LeomacMc, the visionary behind Mariah’s Challenge, an inspirational program that has positively impacted hundreds of students in Butte and beyond.
Leo shared the heartbreaking story of October 28, 2007, when Mariah lost her life to a drunk driver. Standing at the monument marking the site of that tragedy was a powerful reminder that behind every statistic is a life, a family, and a community forever changed.
We are honored to wear the Mariah’s Challenge angel logo on our uniforms. It represents far more than a logo—it represents a commitment to making responsible choices, preventing impaired driving, and inspiring young people to make a difference.
Thank you, Leo, for sharing Mariah’s story and for the lasting legacy you continue to build through Mariah’s Challenge.

Got mine also. @MTechMiller, thanks for letting us know where to buy these @MTechHoops t-shirts.
Proud to serve the Butte Rescue Mission, a vital resource for Southwest Montana that provides hope, support, and a fresh start to countless lives in our community.
The Mission’s impact reaches far beyond its walls, and the work it does matters deeply. For our team, it was an honor to give back to an organization that gives so much to others. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside those who make a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors.

"He'll call me tomorrow and tell me about how soft are guys were. And the things we've got to do to get better. And he'll go down the list with everybody. Because that's just the type of guy he is. . .

University of Houston coach Kelvin Sampson on bringing in Montana Tech, the school of his first head coaching job ever, to play at Fertitta Center tomorrow night: "It was my first job, my first opportunity. And here I am with the best job I've had, a place that we're completely committed to and have been for years and years with my family. So it's kind of full circle.
"It's no secret. I'm headed towards the end of my career. So I probably won't have this chance again. I'm just thankful. Very grateful to have this opportunity to help a school that certainly helped me a lot."
