Don’t be fooled. The club absolutely want to sack Carrick but they know it’ll be costly. Today the club truly died, it’s over.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak on #ManCity's 115 charges: "Let me be as consistent as I've always been; until we have a ruling I can't say much. Once we have a ruling, believe me, we're going to have a wonderful sit-down together and I'll say everything I've wanted to say for the last three years *laughs*..." [via @ManCity]

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Premier League confirm an independent Commission has found Manchester City GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES related to serious breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules over a nine-season period, and the majority of charges in relation to its failure to co-operate with the League’s investigation. The club has the right to appeal the independent Commission’s findings and has until Friday 2 October to exercise that right. The Premier League Board’s intention is that the full process (including any appeals and publication of relevant decisions) is concluded as soon as possible. The independent Commission found that between Seasons 2009/10 and 2017/18: - Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs - The club filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from its auditors and football regulators - Manchester City was significantly in breach of both the Premier League’s and UEFA’s spending limits - During the Premier League’s investigation, Manchester City committed multiple breaches of its duties of co-operation and utmost good faith towards the League (three of the four alleged breaches were upheld)

You don’t rebuild your midfield by dropping £130M on a single player.

Not only has Senne Lammens been our signing of the season but the sheer impact he has made in such a short period of time has been astonishing. Crazy what a pair of safe hands can do throughout the team, really impressed with his debut season.

Cole Palmer loses possession trying to be a hero, Japan catch England on the break, everyone is more or less out of position although England find themselves in a 3v2 situation but yes it’s somehow Kobbie’s fault.
🐢 Is Kobbie Mainoo running in custard? What's he pointing at? The man who sprinted past him?

Sacking him instantly improves our situation, that’s how bad it has become. The most anti Manchester United coach I have ever seen at the head of the ship. Mentally I’ve checked out, it just hurts.

ETH was sacked for less. Jose was sacked for less. van Gaal was sacked for less. Solskjær was sacked for less. But I’m supposed to sit here and get behind a manager who not only goes against every principle this club was built on but one who has 12 league wins in 12 months.

Sacking him instantly improves the direction this club is heading in and the morale surrounding the club and players. Just remember… - this guy was ready to jump ship on two occasions last season, hopefully he’s lining up a third.

Ruben Amorim is extremely out of his depth, the experiment is over — too many red flags for me. How do you progress with a manager who refuses to change/adapt? The answer is you don’t. Pull the plug now, there’s nothing left.

Mainoo made 25 appearances in the league last season with only 6 of those coming from a bench position, to put that into perspective Maguire has 27 under his belt. I’m struggling to understand his frustrations so early on, it’s almost like he can’t be bothered to even try.
🚨 Kobbie Mainoo asked again to Manchester United about chance to go on loan in the final 48h of the summer window. Kobbie insists despite Amorim’s words in press conference and Man United clear reply. #MUFC insist on no chance for exit and plan to keep Mainoo.
