Sometimes, the greatest reward in medicine isn’t a salary or recognition,it’s knowing that, in someone’s hardest moment, you made them feel they weren’t alone. Messages like this mean everything. ❤️🙏🏽”
Honestly, I don’t even know where to start… Dr @NewtonAllan6, thank you🙏🏿. The last 4 days with my mum were some of the hardest days for me, but you stood by me through all of it. You answered my calls even in the middle of the night, we woke you up, called again and again… and you were always there.
Honestly, I had nowhere to start from, but somehow you carried so much of the responsibility with us. You made us feel like we weren’t alone, and I can never take that for granted🙏🏿.
Maama is so happy to finally be home, discharged and slowly getting better. Seeing her smile again means everything to me. ❤️
In our first article, we’re breaking down:
💥 Warning signs you shouldnt ignore.
🩸 What to do when it's suspected.
Because for malaria, “I’ll check tomorrow” can sometimes be too late.
Share it with someone who needs to see this because one post could save a life. #MYCU
🌡️ FEVER? DON’T JUST “WAIT IT OUT.” 👀🦟

That fever you’re blaming on “weather change,” “stress,” or “I’ll be fine tomorrow”? 🤨
Sometimes, it could be malaria.

Rainy days increase the risk of diseases such as dengue and malaria. ⛈️
Protect yourself and your family by:
✅ Eliminating stagnant water where mosquitoes breed
✅ Using mosquito repellents
✅ Sleeping under bed nets
✅ Wearing full-sleeved clothing
Stay vigilant. Stay safe.

ALT WHO South-East Asia Region public health poster about mosquito-borne disease prevention during the rainy season. The poster features a blurred background of rainwater and flooding, with large yellow text stating that rains increase the risk of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria. Three illustrated prevention tips are shown: eliminate stagnant water where mosquitoes breed, apply or use mosquito repellents, and use bed nets while wearing full-sleeved and full-length clothing. A mosquito warning symbol, repellent products, and a person sleeping under a bed net accompany the tips. The poster ends with the message: “Rainy Days? Stay Vigilant, Stay Safe.”
