Started working on this project to analyze global datasets on household drinking water supplies with Robert Bain (@UNICEF) & @SeqH2O over 1.5 years ago -- very happy to see this work published in @EnvSciTech Letters today, on my mom's birthday!

Our pre-print is out now! We combined @JMPWASH & @UNICEF datasets on household water sources, quality, & treatment to estimate the global target market for passive chlorination. Great collaborating on this analysis with @SeqH2O, Robert Bain, & Yiru Chen!

4. Handpump compatibility. Currently 1.3 billion people obtain water from handpumps, but only 3 chlorinators reviewed here were designed with handpumps in mind. Continued work is needed to evaluate and improve handpump compatibility of existing and new devices.
