Rowan MacDonald (@r_macdonald07) ‘25 LHP (ON, Canada) - super projectable lefty arm with an outstanding work ethic, made a 6 mph velo jump this summer and is sitting in the mid 80s, topping 87.4 with a lot more in the tank, had a great summer on the bump (Summer Stats: 44 IP | 62 Ks | 2.21 ERA), spots up well and the FB is sneaky, hides the ball a long time and has arm-side run that generates swing and miss, SPL is a really effective pitch with sharp downward action, can throw it for strikes and tunnels it well off of the FB, also showed a big breaking SL that he can throw in any count, another really good pitch that plays well of the FB, should be a high level arm at the next level!

I had a great time as a guest speaker in the Sustainability Stream at the First Year Integration Conference, hosted by @OT_FEAS for engineering students across Ontario. I talked about entrepreneurship, and generating carbon-free electricity with @EksteraInc's Stirling Engines!
Our paper was just published in Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews. It's about using heat pumps for heating in cold climates and improvements that can be made to improve cold climate performance. authors.elsevier.com/a/1hsmB…
