Imagine loosing because you used an aggregator.
A trader doesnt want just the best price, anyone can route to that.
This article details the biggest gap you probably missed out when executing that trade.
If I were one of the growth team at @baysemarkets, I would put on a campaign. Omo so teams no sabi how to leverage hype and would start creating prediction markets on #LagosLife , then try to get the creator to partner and let people bet predictions on with their in-app cash.

Just closed one of the biggest partnerships so far.
Really big things coming with @uselotusxyz

VCs would write backing ambitious founders building in new categories and at the earliest stage and end up backing founders building the most generic solutions that aren’t scalabler, and leaving the ambitious founders saying it’s too early😅😂. Real life story btw

You no longer have to depend on handouts or charging fees, we found you an holy grail.
The reality of building in prediction markets for most teams is the way inability monetize their product to earn enough without increasing churn.
You charge a fee, retail traders default to using the venues themselves and the reality is you cant make enough to scale from builders fees or so you now you hit a roadblock.
Either sacrifice revenue for you to bootstrap users or even depend directly on what venues offer.
While building @uselotusxyz , we found a way through this and now we can easily say, that roadblock is fully resolved.
If you are a team currently dealing with this.
Send over a DM we got you

Now we are talking
Glad to say our thesis papers are now published to the public
There’s so much alpha locked in each paper showing how much it takes to solve some of the hardest pains current prediction market infrastructure face and how we solved them.
Read that and more: uselotus.xyz/thesis

We are back like we never left.
We are aware about the downtime of our landing page.
This is due to the recent migration of our servers and updates rolling out over the next few weeks. Our website should be back live in the next few days, with a few updates.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this could cause, and would notify publicly when we are back live.
The truth would set you free
Prediction markets are well-funded, but incumbents are struggling.
LPs fund what prediction markets are today, yet still ask whether products built on top are venture-scalable. That cannot be answered yet, because they only see terminals and teams promising intelligence and data.
The infrastructure needed to scale the vertical is not discussed enough. DeFi faced the same problem in 2019 until teams like @Uniswap, @1inch and other pioneers highlighted the rails most products now run on.
The answer is now left to funds: are you willing to take the risks necessary to make this possible, or would you rather fund side projects?
The next phase requires structural infrastructure, not new venues, trading data, intelligence or terminals, so traders and builders can access the rails needed to innovate and make the category venture-scalable.
That is our mission with @uselotusxyz. We are building the innovation we believe prediction markets need to mature, create better opportunities and scale, and we are on our way.

Prediction markets are about to have a massive boost
major green flags in a prediction market product:
1/ users get the best available price without checking 5 venues or fighting thin liquidity
2/ they know exactly what has to happen for the trade to win, lose or resolve
3/ resolution happens on time and follows the rules traders signed up for
4/ the business can make money without eating the trader’s edge in fees
5/ repeat traders come back because it saves them time or consistently gives them better execution
if you’re solving these, you’re not just building another pm frontend.

The future of prediction markets will be venue-agnostic. Just everyday people backing outcomes without restrictions.

Im gonna get fired but i heard the team is doing a full on rebuild 😭.
Sorry i couldn’t hold it in team , people have to know.

Where it all started
Funny enough this is the talk with a whale trader and builder that helped push me towards building what @uselotusxyz is today.
This is the benefit of talking to users.
