The fact that your work has not a 'lot of likes' does not mean people is not watching and even influencing others.
Actually, the Web is a strange place, and the people your work influences will rarely click "Like" because no one wants to be seen stealing.
They don't like to be seen, but we can see us in their work. Of course.
Even more when we developed our own style/body of work.
We know it, and the most important, they know it too.
Let's work.

But technically advanced, intentional use of AI by me as an artist and professional? Crickets. Or suddenly we need to have a moral crisis about “AI art.”
Interesting.
You don’t hate AI.
You like AI when it’s a toy.
You get uncomfortable when someone like me learns how to use it as a tool, a medium, a profession, and gets really good at it.
So maybe we can stop pretending AI itself is the problem.
AI isn’t the threat. Being out-skilled is.

I’m someone who has probably burned through more AI credits than the average human being ever will, having used ChatGPT since beta and Claude since it was the ethical thing to do. I’ve also used Midjourney for three to four years. I have Kling accounts. I have all kinds of AI accounts, and I’m not saying this to brag. I’m saying this as a warning, because I realize now that I have been part of the problem and I want to be part of the solution.
So this is what’s going to happen. AI — like Bernie Sanders said — is a public good. Trained on public information for private purposes, it makes it impossible for a corporation to legally operate large language models that were trained on privately copyrighted data. The output and capital benefit belongs to the people. The output is a public good. There is nothing you can do to stop this tidal wave of AI hate. I don’t care what the tech bros have to say. They are degenerates. They need to be studied like serial killers, because the absolute obsession with the accretion of capital is serial killer-despotic behavior and should be criminally prosecuted. AI belongs to the people.

If the technology is sound, if it's safe, if it's the future — then we demand a quality assurance report. Written by the neurons firing in @elonmusk's brain. In real time. Publicly.
You believe in the product? You go first. That's not a radical position. That's just skin in the game. Taleb said it. Common sense confirms it.
And while we're at it — if we're embedding chips in human skulls, who controls the signal? Who owns the frequency? Who decides what thoughts are acceptable and which ones get... filtered?
Open source it. All of it. The code, the hardware, the data, the intent. If Neuralink is for humanity, let humanity hold the keys.

I’m not feeling inspired to share on this platform at the moment. I’m looking into Substack for long-form writing.
Maybe my presence on X will change in the near future.

A collector like Flying Beagle is what keeps me going on these “decentralized” platforms at times when I no longer see the point or benefit of crypto.

if your workflow includes generated imagery, disclose it.
don’t present generated images as paintings, collages, drawings, photographs, or any other medium they aren’t.
