Another key theme coming out of today's symposium: How invaluable it has been to meet other #SmallBusiness owners in the #manufacturing industry. Lots of comments about the benefits of being able to share experiences, and share ideas on ways of working, systems and processes.
Hearing from Hannah, who's talking about data collection & #digitaltransformation in her family business @TPFayLtd (Hannah's the 4th generation to work in the business). Fantastic to hear their eco-friendly initiatives, the benefits of new software/processes & teamworking

Warren from Trafford Park's @Anderton_UK is taking us through their #ukmfg journey so far - they began as a family business in 1850! Exciting to hear some of the environmental innovations they are looking into, as well as the positive impact #digitalisation will have in future
Hearing from Antonio @DeRomaIceCream, a Wigan-based maker and supplier of Italian gelato-style ice cream, on the #innovations they have planned for the future. 2022 marks their 100-year anniversary - 100 years since Antonio's great grandfather sold his first ice cream in Wigan!
