Today marks 71 years since the Greeks in Constantinople were subjected to a pogrom by the Turks. On September 6-7, 1955, state sponsored mob violence was carried out against the Greek population after false news was spread that Greeks bombed Kemal's house in Thessaloniki, while in reality the bomb was planted by a Turkish consulate worker. After this false flag attack, the following atrocities were committed by the Turks 👇
• 30+ Greeks killed and 1,000 wounded
• 400 Greek women and children raped
• 4,000 Greek homes and 4,000 businesses destroyed
• 73 churches, 26 schools 2 monasteries and 1 synagogue were severely damaged
There used to be approximately 65,000 Greeks in Constantinople in 1955, and after Turkey's constant oppression, discrimination and ethnic cleansing of the Greek minority, today only about 3,000 Greeks remain. Shame to see that even today, Turks carry that same Grecophobia in their blood.

The Constantinople/Istanbul pogrom on September 6–7, 1955 was a state-orchestrated mob attack against the Greek minority in the city, resulting in severe loss of life, sexual violence, and vast property destruction.
Greek homes, businesses, shops, schools, factories, newspaper offices, churches, and cemeteries were vandalized, plundered or destroyed.
The extreme violence caused the vast majority of Istanbul's remaining 100,000-strong Greek minority to flee and emigrate from Turkey in the following years.
Dr. Harry G. Dimopoulos is a native of Constantinople and a survivor of the Pogrom of September 6–7, 1955.
Harry was only 15 years old when he and his family experienced those terrifying events.
Tomorrow, he will participate in the panel discussion, “Before and After the Istanbul Pogrom of September 6–7, 1955: The Destruction of the Hellenic (Rum) Community of Turkey.”
Please join him on Sunday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. EST / 9 p.m. EEST (Athens), as Harry shares his personal testimony and helps preserve the memory of Constantinople’s historic Greek community.

Ξέχασες ήδη ότι στο αρχικό σου tweet έγραψες «και όχι στην Κίνα»;

Europe is considering selling Eurofighters to Turkey, a country that occupies EU soil, threatens Greece, invades neighbors, and crushes human rights.
Chasing short-term profit, they once helped topple Gaddafi. The result? Chaos and jihadists.
Don’t open Pandora’s box again.

Syria: The Greek Orthodox Christian leadership in Suwayda has issued the following urgent statement regarding Christians and Druze being brutally slaughtered by Islamists:
"Glory to God in all things.
I direct this message to the entire world and call upon them to urgently intervene to stop the terrorist massacres in Suwayda.
I direct this humanitarian plea to those of sound minds who love peace.
The ongoing war in Suwayda Governorate is a war of annihilation, killing both young and old.
Therefore, I raise my voice loudly to the international community and to the United Nations to help us.
I hope this cry reaches the whole world.
Issued by the Archdiocese of Bosra, Horan, Jabal al-Arab, and the Golan – Greek Orthodox."

As I proved already in my post
(teapawt.org/madnessfan/status/1931…)
you are the one who “don’t know shit about rural America”.
And in your attempt to cover for it, you posted a bunch of -now, debunked- lies.
And in order to get away with lying, you blocked me.
So, no, .@505premoto, …
⤵️
Since you blocked me, .@505premoto, I have to respond to you indirectly.
I run a Grok query re: your claim(👇) that Georgia’s mobile program helping people in rural areas get a State ID, and guess what?
It was the 1st time ever that Grok came across that info.
It turns out…

…the Brennan Center is a more credible source of information than you.
Intrigued by this turn of events, I run another query re: the “failed ACLU attempt to sue the State of Georgia” and, surprise!!!, nothing to see there, either!
That makes you a 2-time loser, @505premoto.

Utter nonsense!
The images you posted are of artifacts from the “GREEK & Roman Art” collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
NOT Turkish art or culture!
GREEK art & CYPRIOT culture!
And, rest assured, the Met curators know exactly what they’re talking about.

Some inconvenient, for the MAGA crowd, truths about Donald Trump’s capricious, obviously unfounded, and haphazardly implemented tariff policy.
The responses of the Trump fanboys/girls to this, as entertaining as they are, they also reveal their intelligence & intellect deficits.

Trump has two positions.
1) I know more about this subject than anyone ever in the known world.
2) I know nothing about this.

Zelensky has thanked Trump, Congress, and the American people many times.
But let's be clear: when Trump and Vance said that THEY are trying to help Ukraine right now, and need to be thanked for the work personally, there are reasons to wonder. 1/ THREAD

None of this has anything to do with effectiveness, or “lethality,” or promoting “warfighters," or any other buzzwords. It is praetorianism, plain and simple, and it is an assault on our military and our democracy.
