I was so happy and honored to celebrate, on behalf of @Neges_Mawon , the 10th anniversary of Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund @wphfund by lighting up the Empire State Building!💡 For the past two years, WPHF has been one of NÈGÈS MAWON’s important, committed and respectful partners, supporting our work with women and girls in Haiti during an extremely difficult time. Thanks to this partnership we assist 3 023 women survivors, 920 of them received direct medical, psychological, legal and economic support, 199 women and their children found safety, protection and care at Maison Claire Heureuse, and 185 women benefited from our training programs to strengthening their knowledge, skills, and capacity to rebuild their lives. Beyond funding, WPHF has provided invaluable technical support, advocacy opportunities and trust in our leadership and expertise. Celebrating these 10 years also means celebrating the work we’ve accomplished together and the women whose lives we’ve helped change and contributing to peace in the world. And what a pleasure to share this special moment with the amazing @caribanuck , whom I’ve had the privilege of working with over the past two years, some incredible WPHF team, and the wonderful superstar Kristen Bell (she’s so cool🥰)!!!
