I don't intend to post any pictures of my face, but here's a pretty realistic drawing of myself that I'll keep pinned on my profile so that you guys remember to picture me as very handsome and cool.
I've said this before but the answer is actually obvious. It's the sunk cost fallacy.
They mistakenly think that studying the fundamentals is admitting that what they've been doing is a waste of time, and they're scared of that, so they avoid it.
The truth is that they're wrong.
The practice they've put in will still be valuable and they won't be magically forgetting everything they've learned and starting from scratch just because they've decided to revisit the basics and reinforce their understanding of them. People need to realize this.
Helluva Boss is a cartoon. Loona racking the gun a second time adds anticipation to the action of the gun firing, which is an important principle of animation. It's not perfect but it does its job fine and "knowing about guns" should be the last priority of these animators.
People are trying to offer diegetic explanations of "maybe it was unloaded" or something, but the answer is that she is a cartoon who did something unrealistic because it improved the way the action read to the viewer. It's really that simple.
"Other people could control Cyclops's powers if they had them" is kind of lame. I like the idea of other people somehow ending up with his powers and having a moment of like "Oh shit this is how you live every day?"
I guess theoretically there's interesting potential in Scott getting someone else's powers and being unable to control them, but I do think that his powers being uncontrollable as a result of trauma or an injury is one of the parts of his character that I really dislike.
To be honest I don't think I'll ever be able to see Chainsaw Man as anything other than eternally incomplete. I think I would've preferred if it went on indefinite hiatus rather than us getting those last two chapters.
Eyes are the window to the soul, which is why the destroyer of souls is able to manipulate these shirt graphics that match their eyes. I've also predicted Dirk doing the exact same thing depicted in this comic, I genuinely think it's one of the few remaining Chekov's Guns. "Yet."
I don't hate Davekat. It doesn't make me angry to see them. I just find them so so boring. I genuinely think they are each others single least interesting dynamic, it's almost impressive. You could literally spin a wheel and find a more engaging match for either of them.
People will hype up how graphic the sexual content in the Homestuck Epilogues and Beyond Canon is but we literally still don't even have a concrete answer on what kind of sexual anatomy trolls have other than Dirk vaguely suggesting Karkat has an "alien penis".
I genuinely think if Super Mario Bros was releasing in chapters like Deltarune, people would be theorizing on who the last Bowser's identity would be just because of the mechanic of every boss fight except the last one being some minion in disguise
