The @IAFFofficial calls on @GovCox to veto the anti-American worker #HB267 bill before it jeopardizes public safety and puts Utahns’ lives at risk.
At our IAFF Convention in August, Vice President JD Vance said: “Donald Trump is not exactly like Mitt Romney or some of the Republicans of the past. He is a different kind of Republican and under his leadership, the Republican Party is the party of the American worker. …We are going to have an open door for working people, because we want to fight for working people every single day. We will respect your right to engage in collective bargaining.” Apparently, State Sen. Kirk Cullimore and Representative Jordan Teuscher didn’t get the message. The IAFF calls on Gov. Spencer J. Cox to veto this anti-American worker legislation before it jeopardizes public safety and puts Utahns’ lives at risk.
