Any visit to the @SegerstromArts in #CostaMesa is a worthwhile one, but especially now if you’d like to see the #Tony-winning #Broadway #musical, #TheOutsiders. Here’s the link to my very full in-depth #review: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

As I wrote in my #review of #SpeakingInTongues at the #venerable #LATC in #DTLA, “A Jewish girl and a Hindu girl walk into a show about a Pentecostal church, and…we really enjoyed it!” Here’s the link to the rest of my review of this fun play: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

A lovely time was had by all at #PacificJazzOrchestra’s recent #BenefitConcert. There was great #music, #dancing, nice #food, and fun #guests. Here’s the link to all the skinny on the proceedings: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/partie….

DON’T GET WORRIED—THIS IS AN OLD PHOTO! And that’s because today is my exact 11-year #strokaversery!!! “Exact” because October 17th was on a Saturday back then, as well. So yay me for still hanging in here! (The pic is from back then. All good now.)

I saw the #spectacular #RonaldKBrown #dance company, #Evidence, at @TheWallisBH in #BeverlyHills last week, and adored every second of the #presentation! Here’s the link to my glowing #review: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/dance-….

I join the world in shock over the incredibly sad death of young #actor #RJMitte. I met this darling guy several times, and I could not feel worse for his #family and friends. Here’s the link to my own tiny #tribute to him: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/r-i-p-….

If you see one #show for the rest of the year, you must make it the #classic #LesMiz (#LesMiserables) from @5StarTheatricls in #ThousandOaks! The entire #Broadway-quality #production is #incredible! Here’s the link to my #glowing-est of #reviews: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

All #Angelenos MUST see @5StarTheatricls' #LesMiz in #ThousandOaks this weekend or next! It’s literally stunning, in every way! Totally #Broadway quality! My full review will be up next week, but I feel compelled to tell you about it now so you don’t miss it.

I had a lovely time at @S_M_Playhouse recently bc of their very kind #personnel. I was there to see the play #OutsideMullingar, so now I’m reviewing the entire #crazy #experience for you, including busting myself for something! Here’s the link to it all: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

Just saw @evidencedance at @TheWallisBH 2nite & I say u all MUST go see them this weekend! They’re incredible! (Of course they are—they’re my fellow #Brooklynites!) And look who I met at #halftime—my favorite #dancer #ChandlerDavidson! What a fabulous evening, all the way around!

If you’ll be in #SoCal this #weekend & love #Broadway #musicals, u must see #MusicalTheatreGuild’s 30th #anniversary #Gala at the #Broad in #SantaMonica. It will be #fabulous! Here r all the deets w/tales from my phone convo w/#musicdirector, #BradEllis: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/upcomi….

#ThePetersonShow, playing at the #AtwaterVillageTheatre, just may be the #perfect show! It’s mainly #hilarious while also being deadly #serious—what a #combo! And it stars very working #actors. Here’s the link to my positively glowing #review: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

#MLBPlayoffs #Yankees Mr. X and I adore @ARizzo44! But how old is this guy? He looks like a little kid!!! I don’t see even one #wrinkle!!! And he’s been in the sun his entire life! He needs to do a #sunscreen #commercial. I’d buy it.

I had the most fun time at #FallIntoOz in #WoodlandHills last weekend! I highly recommend that everyone in #SoCal experience this interactive, walk-through, live production, with or without the kids. Here’s the link to my full glowing review: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/live-p….

#MTVVIDEOMUSICAWARDS Yeah, #Madonna is #ArtistoftheYear, but that year was #1983!!! That’s also the last year she washed her #hair. (And she really needs to put on a skirt or cute pants and boots, so she’d look #hip instead of #desperate!)

#MTVVIDEOMUSICAWARDS Why did #Madonna & #CharliXCX wear #diapers in the #openingnumber? It was #gross. Madonna probably needs them at this point--she looks like she has a load in her shorts! Maybe she just went back too far in her attempt to be #young.

If you’re a #fan of #EdgarAllenPoe, & will be in #SoCal soon, you might like 2 see #TheCaseBookofCAugusteDupin at #Theatre40 in #BeverlyHills. It’s all 3 of Poe’s #detective #stories in 1 #production. To help you decide, here’s the link to my full review: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/theatr….

Major #Congrats 2 the #Brave’s #ChrisSale on his 9th season in a row w/#200Ks! I’m even more impressed with the #Reds’ #SalStewart who challenges #pitches the most, but he did not here, knowing he was the last #player Chris was going to face this season. That’s a good guy.

Even tho my #USOpen #wrapup is a tad #tardy, I always say better #late than #never. As always, you’ll read things here that you couldn’t possibly have seen anywhere else! Here’s the link to my #fun and/or #snarky thoughts on the recent #tennis #tourney: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/tennis….

I finished-up my pre-Emmys activities last week with a visit to the first-time #SpoiledandEntitled #gifitngsuite. Here’s the link to my article about it: itsnotaboutme.tv/news/giftin….
