Lee Alexander McQueen: Mind, Mythos, Muse at LACMA draws inspiration from McQueen’s recurring interest in the classical, reinterpreting the colonnade form as the primary architectural theme. Twenty-four columns organize intersecting galleries where fashion and art converge across four themes: Mythos, Fashioned Narratives, Technique & Innovation, and Evolution & Existence. The design culminates in a radial theater that places visitors at center stage, revealing all artworks simultaneously.
