It is implicit that this will relate to the field of mammalogy in some way.
Ability to speak to how applicant’s identity has contributed to career goals, interests, & hopes.
Proposals that have broad impacts and where funds can go further than the applicant’s specific project.
The American Society of Mammalogists is seeking assistance with design and production of a digital newsletter. The quarterly newsletter will share information about mammal research and conservation, student awards and funding opportunities, ASM activities, and more.
If you are interested in mammals and science communication, check out the request for proposals on the ASM website: mammalsociety.org/whats-new/…
Fellow Mammalogists,
The 2026 Annual Meeting is being held Norfolk, VA. We will continue our tradition of a live auction, with the proceeds going to support young mammalogists through grants and awards. We need donations!
In particular, we are looking for high-quality items that would be of interest to the membership (e.g., field equipment, books, reprints, gadgets, prints, photos, novelty items, artwork, etc.). Of course, your donation is tax deductible, as ASM is a non-profit organization.
If you have an item you think is suitable, please contact me ([email protected]) or Kerrell ([email protected]).
Looking Forward to seeing you all in Virginia.
Dear ASM Members,
The American Society of Mammalogists relies on your participation to guide its future. If you have not yet done so, please take a moment to vote in the election for our next round of leadership.
Your input is essential in shaping the direction of our Society. ASM 2026 Ballot for Election of Board Members: asm.wildapricot.org/Sys/Poll… You will need your member login information to vote.
