Really excited to give you an early peek of something we've been building with Claude that's been making me an absolute ton of cash, and will be shipping soon. It's a proprietary trading platform built around what we're calling "asynchronous price discovery". Most trading platforms invest enormous resources into reducing market data latency. We've taken the opposite approach and deliberately introduced a 3.4-second delay between the live market and the platform's internal pricing engine. The key insight is that a delayed quote isn't necessarily bad data. It's an executable historical price. By maintaining a parallel real-time market feed, we can observe where an asset is currently trading, then execute against the price our platform was displaying 3.4 seconds earlier. The execution engine identifies these temporal pricing discrepancies, opens positions against the stale quotes, and captures the spread as the platform's internal order book converges with the live market. Because the convergence path is already observable externally, this effectively removes the directional uncertainty associated with conventional trading. I'm not predicting future price movements. I'm monetising the difference between two temporally distinct states of the same market. The hardest part has actually been the execution architecture. We've spent the last few days refining quote persistence, timestamp reconciliation and order-routing logic to ensure the internal pricing engine doesn't inadvertently update before our orders are filled. Early results have been exceptional. 24 trades, 100% win rate, approximately $8,400 in realised P&L. What's particularly interesting is that the size of the opportunity appears to scale positively with latency. I'm currently experimenting with extending the delay to 5–7 seconds, which should theoretically increase the available spread without introducing additional market risk. Still some issues with the UI, but the underlying infrastructure is now consistently profitable. I genuinely think there's a significant opportunity here. The entire industry has been obsessed with making trading platforms faster, when the real advantage may have been making them slower. Comment "LATENCY" to be added as a beta tester.
