Scientists discovered a very cheap way to extract L-Cysteine from human hair, hog hair & duck feathers. The cheapest & most profitable for big food & pharmaceutical companies is to use human hair. L-Cysteine is obtained by (Hydrolysis)...boiling human hair in concentrated hydrochloric acid, followed by electrolysis. This method is known for being the cheapest, with most of the hair sourced from barbershops & hair salons in India & China. Cut hair is swept into industrial buckets then sent for chemical extraction with the final additive product shipped to the US. L-Cysteine is added to flour & bread products as a dough conditioner & shelf-life extender. And human hair is the source of L-Cysteine in supplements & vitamin/electrolyte energy drinks. The European Union prohibits the use of any & all human byproducts in food & pharmaceuticals. The specific ban on human hair derived L-Cysteine is for 2 reasons... 1⃣ Ethical concerns: Using human hair in food is seen as unethical, particularly for those who adhere to specific religious or personal beliefs, or those with concerns about the human source of the product. 2⃣ Health risks: Public health concerns surrounding prion diseases like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) caused the ban. Although Prions are highly resistant to many treatments, there is a general concern about the transmission of diseases through human tissue & products. 👇L-Cysteine Used In Food Production👇 oukosher.org/blog/consumer-k… 👇Bio-Production Of L-Cysteine👇 pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/article… 👇L-Cysteine From Human Hair👇 europarl.europa.eu/doceo/doc… Speaker: Renee Stakey 'The Detox Dame'
