I’m not gonna lie but I’m tired of the whole “men are in a loneliness epidemic” thing I keep seeing on here. This is the universal key to a happy life as a man
Damon Wayans says that even at 65 years old, if Keenen tells him to get him a soda, he's going to go get it, because in their family, it’s all about an unspoken code of respect, seniority, and brotherly hierarchy.
“Yeah, but like even now, this is how my family is. Like, I'm 65 years old and Keenen goes, "Go get me a soda," and I got to go get it.”
“If Marlon walks in a room, and you know, if I walk in a room and there's no seats, Marlon gets up. Sean and Keenen will sit, and Marlon will get up and say, "You sit here." And my son will have to do the same thing.”
“That's why I love the fact that they have children. Because I go to my theater sometimes and little Damon's there and Mikey's there, and as soon as I walk in the room, the youngest one gets up and lets me sit down without question, and I love that.”
“It's just how we do with each other. It's just a quiet code. Some things you don't have to teach, it's just what you see.”

I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.

Still have yet to meet a lactose intolerant person who takes that shit seriously lmao
I'm usually pro defense but they gotta make the swing thru a shooting foul again. If the defender is caught is caught.
Seems like he doesn't know the parents. So the step missed if he was gonna do this was personally contacting the parents himself to give an update.
Based on the comments I guess I'm in the minority here but parents were absolutely wildin with that approach back then. Now have we taken it too far today? A bit, yes.
apologies if this is super naive but just asking bc im curious. is there anything different about raising a kid now in 2026 versus in the 80s that warrants them needing more supervision? like when my dad was like 8 he'd wander around the city alone most of the time. i'm asking bc when i have kids, i dont want to have to supervise them 24/7. i feel like that's very demanding on parents. why cant independent play be more of then norm? is it a cultural thing? or is the world more dangerous now than it used to be?
