What does it take to turn promising #Ebola innovations into accessible tools?
Unitaid’s investment of up to US$3.4M supports preparations to help countries access new Bundibugyo #Ebola diagnostics and treatments, should they prove safe and effective.

Hepatitis elimination starts before birth.
The tools to prevent mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B exist, but they must reach every mother and newborn.
Through SAFEStart+, we support approaches that help protect mothers and babies.

I’ve started a multi-country research on Climate Change and Planetary Health with @JohnsHopkinsSPH, the @ph_alliance, and the PHCA
As a research country lead for Nigeria, thanks to my counterparts from UK, USA, Iraq, Sierra Leone and Germany.
A win win for climate action!
Prescribed a higher dose of amoxicillin for a child and the pharmacist flagged it .
I went and we discussed the rational why higher doses of same drug was to be used in those particular scenario.
Very matured and healthy collaboration.
For 15 years, Solina has worked with partners to strengthen health systems and create lasting impact. The Northern Nigeria Routine Immunization Strengthening Program (NNRISP) is one reflection of that journey.
Through NNRISP, Solina supported state governments across six northern states through interventions spanning community engagement, vaccine supply chains and logistics, service delivery, data management, financial management, and institutional and personnel capacity building.
The impact went beyond the children vaccinated. NNRISP left behind stronger systems, better equipped to reach more children.
15 years of Insights. Innovation. Impact.

From Niger to Kano, one lesson from my fieldwork remains clear: maternal outcomes depend on the entire care pathway.

1. Being busy is not the same as coping with grief.
2. Making your life gentle to live in is the most helpful way to cope during difficult seasons.
3. Asking your friends/loved ones, "How are you, really?" is now better because "How are you?" no longer gets you the real answer.

Leadership does not begin with titles. It begins when you decide to take responsibility-step up, speak up, create room for others, & make places better than you met them, even when nobody is watching

Anytime I am at a pharmacy or hospital to get medicines, I listen with wrap attention during medication counseling. I take time to ask questions and further clarification.
At the end of one long counseling, I told one that I have been a pharmacist for 12 years. He wanted to cry 😄😄😄
Everyone must do his job, completely. 😄

Social media levels everyone. Someone who just finished school, with a handful of citations (8) in local journals and experience as a research assistant, is confidently questioning my understanding of basic research methods. In his entire faculty, no one match my research profile
Replying to @Ade_dapo__
@Ade_dapo__ Why did you delete your profile? Are you not proud of it? Come back, let’s talk? You can’t question my knowledge of basic statistical method with a scrappy profile. Now I challenge you to present any with my profile match in your school depart and we can talk proper.
