Okay, yes at first I thought this was AI...
Then I had to dive into the specifics on how they did this.
Great interview here: motortrend.com/news/tesla-ro…
Considering how strict FAA private pilot certification is... I can't even imagine the regulatory nightmare in store.
@elonmusk - in watching that @MotorTrend interview, @EdLoh w/ Lars Moravy. Lars is an excellent communicator. Props.
I love the first half of this video. He makes good points on socio-political realities the West is facing.
Huge language learning this week. Three language tutors in two weeks. Same advice.
Mandarin: “Talk like an ugly baby.”
Portuguese: “Don’t let the rules trip you up.”
Spanish: “Say your first thought.”
Be willing to be wrong instead of being hyper focused on the right rules.
I came across this photo of Lincoln after reading Team of Rivals. A must read.
Same man. Five years apart. A war, a split nation held together, the loss of a son.
This comparison puts such context to such an indelible legacy, written with hard work.

Sorghum is native to Africa and still a staple across the Sahel and Horn. But in much of southern and eastern Africa, maize pushed it out.
The case for drought-hardy grains is strong. Most of the push should go into bringing back crops that already belonged there.
🚨 DUNE FANS 🚨 ...
I know there are other people out there torn by the recent trailers... 😅
I have read all the books. And I honestly want to seen the books' imagery come to life, rather than deviations and artistic latitude. All love to @dunemovie :)

I am currently going through the steps of getting my private pilots licensing.
This has always been something I have considered to be a mettlesome and resourceful quality.
Does anyone remember Richie Rich, Richard and Regina flying?
This is what successful people do; they do.
I love these pieces that teach the background to particular sectors. A few years old, but this @TheEconomist piece of the short history of AI is a worthy read.

When I lived in DC I became a huge podcast listener, hooked on particular shows as I would walk to and from the metro.
This podcast by @McKinsey is a great one. More critical, deeper consulting angle at current market trends. Not the standard news.

Done > Perfect
I absolutely love this image, because it only works in Portuguese, not in English.
Feito é melhor que o Perfeito = Done is better than Perfect.
This is one I always work at internalizing. 💪
There are two things that I am trying to understand and lean into.
1. Building value: I am on that value journey like so many others. This is where I am sharing my expertise nuggets. Insights for free.
2. 3D Modeling: Learning how to create physical solutions to daily problems.
Listening to The Middle, which I had no idea about on @WBEZ, is broadcasting from Kansas City.
Talking about degradation of social trust and social media.
Everyone should listen to this episode. Everyone!

Have been reading a lot about ancient Rome, Greece, and American politics recently.
It occurred to me that rhetoric, public speaking has long been one of most important skills to master.
People frequently wonder... what skills should I learn. That's one of them.
Gosh, this hurts me to see. This White House ban on other news sources.
I feel like this largely stems from the outlandish statements that the president has made on immigration. Some true; many incorrect.
That's driven a wedge in our public discourse.

"The U.S. is one of the last places that actually has values."
It's hard for me to believe that I heard someone say that in a conversation a few weeks ago.
I asked the guy, "Last places? Have you ever lived or traveled outside of the U.S." He said "No" like that wasn't important.
