Not a starter? Practice better.
Umpire call a bad strike? So what, move on.
Get sent down to A-ball? Moping around wont get you up to AA. Taking advantage of your opportunity, will.
The defense made an error behind you? So what, go make another pitch and pick them up.
Get up.

Coach Painter nails it! Be about TEAM!
This is worth a listen.
While assessing his team following an 88-80 loss to Notre Dame, #Purdue head coach Matt Painter shares some advice to high school players looking to compete in college:
"You have to get over yourself."

If you made a mistake, apologize.
If you are thankful, say it.
If you are confused, ask questions.
If you learn something, teach it.
If you are stuck, ask for help.
If you can give more, give more.
If you love someone, tell them.
If you are wrong, admit it. #FridayFeeling

A good team is like a family.
A great team IS A FAMILY.
True in basketball.
True in business.

People often are unaware that it is not typically the OHSAA’s (or mine obiously) choice. It has not been available to us due to it being the home for OSU VB, Gymnastics, Fencing, Wrestling, etc.

Don’t be that guy in the high school stands making a loud comment every single time down the basketball court. There are 3 officials on the floor. They don’t need you yelling, “Carry, Charge, Foul, Push-off, Reach, Three Seconds or Travel.” Show a little class and sportsmanship!
