The UK India trade deal, along with trade benefits, means the UK can benefit from civil engineers, software programmers etc (skills shortage sectors), coming here to work and boost our economy... without giving them access to benefits.

The Indian tax agreement only applies to Indians seconded to Britain from a company based in India on a short term basis.
The arrangement doesnโt apply to Indians applying for jobs in Britain.
