Today we remember alumnus Chris McMullen-Laird, a wonderful conductor and kind friend to all those who knew him at the RCM. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing and we send our heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.

Our greatest respects to a true musical giant, Krzysztof Penderecki, who has left us today. His potent, gripping music is like torchlight in the darkest hours. Take a moment to listen to his works online, like the whispered Adagio from his Symphony No.3.
