Have you thought of volunteering with Scouts? You can make all the difference to young people in your area. bit.ly/3Kj67Mg
I will never forget how Chris chatted with me about my knitting every time I brought it to the office during Covid times when it was just me and him at the opposite ends of the floor. I hope Isaac's socks still fit him 🩵 A kind man and fantastic colleague who will be missed.

I don't understand how anyone can keep up with a Zoom meeting without knitting/sewing/crocheting 🤷🏼♀️ We'd knit during classes in high school, some teachers didn't like it, but when our history teacher told them the knitters get the best grades they let us continue 🧶
Stitch-up?
Or
Sew What?
Is Councillor Christina Roberts of @DundeeSNP right to be sewing a bobble on to a hat during a @DundeeCouncil meeting or should her attentions have been undivided?

Depressing and cruel just about sums it up. I'm lucky to be part of the EU settlement scheme, but I have friends who aren't. I can't imagine being told I can't live with my partner or work in the UK because jobs I'm qualified for won't pay that much.

And as others have pointed out, there are already shortages in many fields. Hospitality is struggling for staff as is, so are schools and the NHS. This definitely won't make the current situation any better.

Answering the important questions this week at work 🍩
This week I joined our food and drink writer @MariaGran96 for a drive-thru review of the local fudge doughnut offering, following in the footsteps of @GordonJMccabe. Which one was our favourite? Bayne's, Greggs, Fisher & Donaldson or Clark’s? thecourier.co.uk/fp/lifestyl…
It was amazing to finally see The Ferry Selkie in all her glory and chat with Kelly about her journey to get where she is today. She is an incredibly inspiring and kind-hearted entrepreneur!
After a difficult 14 months, Ferry Selkie owner Kelly Fairweather shares the story behind her restaurants, the break-in and why she will never, ever call someone a “junkie”

I'm a day late to the party and it's still sinking in, but I'm so excited to be nominated alongside my brilliant colleagues 🥳
I think it's fair to say my business stories haven't always been traditional, but I've enjoyed writing them and I'm glad others have (seemingly) enjoyed them. One story I'll never forget is heading out to Fife to shoot pellets at strangers 🔫 thecourier.co.uk/fp/business…
Hei @Skattenmin, om man er bosatt i utlandet og eier bolig der, skal det føres på skattemeldingen? Hvilken eiendomstype er det da?

unreal that on the same day BP announce £7bn of profits, the BBC are running a segment warning folk not to take risks trying to keep warm this winter with regards to fires and wood burners.
Incredible investigation and brilliant Courier Daily episode today from Brendan, well worth a read, watch and listen.

Really enjoyed this chat with Aileen, such a fascinating - if slightly scary - series. Brilliant job by Aileen and the team!
