It is also a continuation of this research: esajournals.onlinelibrary.wi…, where we investigated the use of species distribution models for populations locally adapted to different climate conditions, including the two subspecies of the Siberian primrose.
Our new study, led by @AnniinaMattila, used quantitative genetics methods and reinforces this message: the species does not have enough adaptive capacity to cope with rapid climate change.
