Doing mathematics with just pencil and paper is historically—hence, pedagogically—important. Almost all of the deep insights into numbers and geometry occurred without calculators and technology. The art of math lies in the creativity of the brain.

We have to make sure that just because our students are #EnglishLanguageLearners that we do not discount #Braille for their literacy when their preferred font is so large. Saying it will be "harder" for them is not a reason to withhold #Braille.
