She’s right!
I will show the world that I can be its master!
I will perfect my own race of people!
A race of atomic supermen, which will conquer the world!

Late night Redclaw
Many moons ago, a guy once said I’m the type of woman his mother warned him about.
I said there’s no way his mother had that much imagination.
One of my new royal outfits.
Designed by Monsieur Philippe-Baptiste de la Pompadour-Froufrou at his studio just outside Versailles, France.
He insisted on three separate fittings, two royal decrees, and a blood oath from the seamstress before approving the final design.
Naturally, he considers it understated.
In case you’re wondering, yes, I knew him from my supervillain days. He designed my outfits for that phase of my life as well.
He understands my complete lack of modesty.
Your comment about writing car chases triggered some thoughts in my brain, and while doing laundry today, I wrote the first draft of this.
It’s basically one long car chase. A ramshackle aircraft or two might be involved.

Got a lot of writing done this weekend.
Got various of the next few chapters of Harry Potter's 's Great American vacation written down and in need of various bits of editing.
Also started an outline for a new unrelated Harry story based on a dream I had a couple nights ago that may or may not go anywhere.
The psychopaths consider anything but a perfectly flat chested, cylindrical woman to be goonslip.

FemShep chose the pink ending where everyone, including the reapers, is converted into magical girls. In space.
This is the canon ending the sets up Mass Effect: Fan Service
There’s nothing cool about a hideously drawn collection of stereotypes and tropes.
We’ve seen this character 5000 times.
She’ll never be as cool as Queen Redclaw personally shooting down Chinese spy drones over Greenland from the back of a flying ice dragon.

Me: (hisses)
But seriously, I’m in Greenland now dude! I’m the queen!
Here’s me ordering a minion to get me some morning donuts.
Tempted to try and get an invite to AO3 and test their tolerance with a story about Superman helping ICE deport criminals.

Great episode. Lex and the Joker dealing while Mercy and Harley fight in the background is peak.
Respect for Mercy. Top shelf minion!
Casey Hudson literally said it would not be a choice between A, B or C.
Technically it was red, green and blue so I guess he didn’t completely lie. 🙄
I still can’t get over the fusion ending. That’s something a nine-year-old would come up with.

Why else do you think I sent a minion?

I’m a little skeptical of that as well. Stories begin to lose me a bit when they try to scale the crisis up to the entire universe.
The idea of an overwhelming, highly advanced enemy that has to be defeated through alliances and clever ideas and strategy is perfectly sufficient.
I remember that’s what kind of killed the new Voltron series from a few years ago. It started out well, but then the end arc just became bigger and bigger and bigger robots.

I looked it up forever ago and was disappointed because one of the original plans sounded way better and has roots in Mass Effect 2 from Tali's recruitment mission. Better sci-fi and better motivations.
Everyone focuses on the ending, but the whole thing was just off. I thought the Level designs were real downgrade.
You had to keep going back to the same quest hub, and I remember getting quests for planets I couldn’t even reach yet.
Inserting an IGN gaming journalist (Jessica Chobot) as a character? If I ran the studio, I would fire the person who made that decision.
Crucible, Catalyst, and Kai Leng i’ll introduce late in the game when they should’ve been using existing assets and decisions to build to various conclusions. A lot of “ex Machina” feeling to it all.
Just felt a lot less like an RPG and more just a linear shooter.
And this one is kind of personal and pure speculation on my part but, I remember players kind of liking Cerberus as a dark anti-hero organization that was fighting when the rest of the galaxy wouldn’t. That was the really unexpected part of ME2 and it was pretty neat.
I feel like the writers didn’t like that and they pulled off a Joker Part Deux and turned them into just another indoctrinated enemy, in spite of the fact that Cerberus was the ones who had study reaper tech and indoctrination more than anyone.

ME3 felt like such a letdown in that regard... With all the branching options in 1 and 2, it seemed like the devs suddenly thought, "how can we take all those different paths and tie them back into a tidy, simple, package ending with as few variables as possible to save cost."
