I have a couple of friends within and outside Nigeria that are now fond of sharing every bad news about Nigeria with me especially from Instablog, Tunde Ednut and few others all in a bid to question my support for the President.
My response has been the same and quite effective.
- Where was your message when Nigeria recently eliminated the number 2 of ISWAP (globally) in addition to over 100 members in a collaboration with the US?
- Where was your message every time reports come out that thousands of terrorists have been eliminated in the Northeast by the military?
- Where was your message when Nigeria’s economy was listed among the highest growing economies in the world ahead of many of your favorite nations?
- Where was your message when students celebrated 3 years of no ASUU strike due to increased funding and the students loan?
- Where was your message when several citizens were celebrating improved infrastructural investments across the 36 states of the federation?
- Where was your message when state governors were praising the President for increased allocation which has stopped them from borrowing and helped pay salaries on time?
- Where was your message when Nigeria was removed from IMF list of debtors?
- Where was your message when companies that used to declare losses started declaring excess profits all over the place?
- Where was your message when Nigeria became a net exporter of petroleum products compared to years when we were the import king?
- Where was your message when leading credit rating companies started upgrading Nigeria’s rating after many decades?
- Where was your message when people were praising Tunji Ojo for making our passport applications easier than it has ever been in the country?
Why is it that you only remember to message me when bad things happen in the country? Have you been waiting for this opportunity simply because you didn’t like that choice of 2023?
Again, let nobody gaslight you ahead of 2027 due to recent developments that now sounds politically motivated. They have a right to focus on the criticisms and bad news while you have a right to focus on the positive ones while hoping for the best going forward.
It is a fight between those who want to take us back in time to the corrupt days when subsidy payments on fuel and forex ruled the economy.
A fight between those who just want their kinsman to become the President without any solid capacity and one that has proven overtime to be effective.
Their concerns must be duly noted but never get gaslighted by their claims on your choice. Come 2027, the only choice is to remain focused and return the one that has done the hard job which other presidents have ran away from simply because they want to win elections.
We will be there cos it will happen 😊.

Nigeria 🇳🇬 is Ebola-free again!
WHO has confirmed zero active cases in the country after the index patient and her husband were successfully medically evacuated to Switzerland. 🇨🇭
The only confirmed case is gone — Nigeria’s rapid response contained the threat.
“What is happening at NNPCL today shows that meaningful reform is possible when leadership places the collective interest above sectional advantage,” Agbese said.
“The company is no longer structured primarily to serve a narrow elite. It is being repositioned as an engine that generates revenue, creates jobs and advances the aspirations of the wider citizenry.
“I encourage our international partners to recognise and engage this new reality. A transparent, efficient and commercially focused NNPCL strengthens energy security and opens partnership opportunities for all who share an interest in a stable and prosperous Nigeria.”
In his concluding remarks, Agbese emphasised that the progress recorded so far must be protected and deepened.
He described Ojulari’s tenure as a critical period in which habits of secrecy and waste were being replaced by measurable performance and public accountability.
The lawmaker expressed confidence that continued reform would further raise upstream output, accelerate gas commercialisation and ensure that the benefits of Nigeria’s hydrocarbon resources reach ordinary households rather than remaining concentrated among privileged networks.
“The true test of leadership is whether institutions serve the many or the few,” Agbese concluded. “Under Bayo Ojulari, NNPCL is beginning to pass that test.
“The shift from elite conspiracy to citizen-centred value creation is underway and must be sustained. Nigeria’s energy future depends on protecting this trajectory.”

I Confirm that, with my approval, earlier this morning, the index case for Nigeria’s first imported Ebola virus disease departed Abuja for Switzerland. The index patient was clinically much improved, stable, conscious, communicating, and her clinical laboratory test results closing towards baseline. This does not mean she is not still infectious, hence the strict protocols in place.
The patient was evacuated along with her spouse who has remained asymptomatic.
I thank all the various clinical staff for the high quality care they provided the patient as well as the public health personnel who ensured the evacuation was carried out in line with best public health measures for such evacuations.
We will provide further updates later this afternoon after the patient and her spouse lands successfully in their destination.
All public health measures are continuing to ensure successful containment of the imported virus. I urge Nigerians to remain vigilant and rely on information from credible sources.
BREAKING NEWS
REPORT: EBOLA PATIENT EVACUATED FROM NIGERIA VIA AIR AMBULANCE
The index patient diagnosed with Ebola virus in Nigeria has been evacuated from the country early this morning through an air ambulance at the private jet wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, ARISE News sources informed us.
ARISE News was tipped off by a news source that the patient who is a woman and wife of a Swiss diplomat in Nigeria would be flown out of Nigeria by 6am this morning through a medivac plane which was already at the airport waiting to evacuate her.
Our crew deployed to the General Aviation Terminal later obtained pictures of the arrival of a convoy of vehicular ambulance from Abuja city centre with diplomatic vehicles in the entourage. The three vehicle convoy had an international Agency vehicle entering the Private Jet section of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport.
Airport officials cordoned off the private wing of the airport but ARISE News eventually obtained videos of a medivac plane with crews eventually evacuating the sick passenger suspected to be the Ebola index case due to the special nature of the medical evacuation.
A source told ARISE News that the Federal Government will make the announcement of the medical evacuation only after the plane has taken off and exited the Nigerian airspace.
