Agentagogy: An Instructional Framework to Address Artificial Intelligence in Learning
Pedagogy, andragogy, and heutagogy remain indispensable. They help us decide who leads learning, how much structure is warranted, and when the learner should determine the path. Pedagogy orients us to guided instruction. Andragogy takes adult experience and purpose seriously. Heutagogy pushes further toward self-determined capability.
In the era of artificial intelligence and agentic agents, they are not enough.
None of those frameworks were built for learning environments in which artificial agents can plan, retrieve, write, tutor, assess, and act. The “gogy” continuum (pedagogy – andragogy – heutagogy) still assumes that the primary agents in the room are human: teacher, facilitator, or learner. Once AI can initiate, delegate, and complete cognitive work, the instructional problem changes. We are no longer only asking how to teach children, support adults, or cultivate self-determined learners. We are asking how to design teaching and learning when agency itself is shared, contested, and easily outsourced.
I recently spent time with Seth Fleischauer @LaoshiSeth and Allyson Mitchell on their “Why Distance Learning?” podcast entitled “Why Distance Learning? Episode 88 #88 This Is Online Learning's Moment to Lead - with Dr. Mark Deschaine”. I received feedback and requests for more information related to the term Agentagogy.
This post is a first public sketch, not a finished theory of that term and concept. I will continue to develop Agentagogy in future presentations and writing. The conversation that prompted these requests is here share.transistor.fm/s/ad1593…
I have searched the literature, databases, and the open web for the term agentagogy. I have not found the term in use as an instructional framework. That does not make the idea automatically correct. It does mean we may be looking at a new, and potentially foundational, way to investigate AI as teaching and learning move forward.
More importantly, I believe clarification is not only important but necessary, because the adjacent term Agentivism is already in circulation.
Agentivism, as proposed by Yan and Gašević, is a learning theory. It asks how durable human capability can still grow when learners can delegate explanation, problem solving, and production to generative and agentic systems. Its concern is process: selective delegation, epistemic monitoring, reconstructive internalization, and transfer under reduced support. That work is significant: it matters, however, I do not see it as the same project.
Agentagogy is an instructional framework. It asks how we design, lead, assess, and govern learning environments in which artificial agents are participants, not merely tools. It sits in the same family as pedagogy, andragogy, and heutagogy: not “how does learning occur in the mind when AI is present,” but “how should teaching and learning be arranged when AI is present.”
This is not a syllogism.
Agent + -agogy ≠ a clever rename of Agentivism.
The distinction matters for practice, and research investigations into that practice. A learning theory can explain why completed work may not equal learned capability. An instructional framework must answer different questions: When should an agent tutor, collaborate, or step back? What remains of the teacher’s responsibility? How do we preserve learner judgment when fluency is cheap? What counts as evidence of learning when performance can be assembled by a system? How do curriculum, assessment, ethics, and leadership change when the learning environment includes nonhuman actors?
If we collapse those questions into a theory of human–AI cognition, we will keep describing the problem while leaving instructors, programs, and institutions without a design language. If we treat Agentagogy as wordplay, we will miss why the older “gogies” strain under agentic systems: they allocate agency among humans. They do not tell us how to teach when agency can be automated.
Agentagogy, as I am developing it, is an attempt to not only name that instructional gap, but begin filling it. It does not replace pedagogy, andragogy, or heutagogy. It asks what must be added when artificial intelligence is no longer an accessory to the learning environment but a condition of it.
This is the introduction to the concept. The important work and heavy lifting come next. I have several projects in various stages of authorship in hopes to begin important conversations around the integration of artificial intelligence into learning and teaching environs.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision that the Trump administration holds authority to block foreign individuals with criminal records from reentering the United States. Supporters praise the ruling as a major victory for border security and public safety. Critics argue that expanding executive discretion risks infringing on due process rights for lawful residents.

🚨JUST IN: Kavanaugh and Alito just TORCHED the entire “independent commission” scam and the left is panicking because this is a HUGE win for President Trump
They went straight for the jugular. The question was simple: can Congress just slap the word “independent” on ANY Cabinet office and basically wipe out presidential power?
Kavanaugh wasn’t having it.
“Independent agencies aren’t accountable to the people. They’re not elected. Yet they’re exercising MASSIVE power over liberty and billion-dollar industries.”
Then Turley sums it up: Kavanaugh and Alito made SHORT WORK of the defenders.
Can Congress make ANY department “independent”?
Can they give them 20-year terms?
Every time the justices pressed, the other side COLLAPSED.
This is the Supreme Court reminding Washington who actually runs the executive branch.
Trump needed this. And he got it.

🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 4: YES, MANY ARE AWARE OF THE GOALS 🚨
This one is a thread because there are multiple materials.
On January 15, 2026, Renew American Democracy (RAD), the strategy built around the Democracy Renewal Group's (DRG) ex-USAID democracy officers, held planning exercises for "emergency scenarios" and how it'd affect their "strategic objectives."
RAD's explicit goal is in catalyzing those so-called "emergency scenarios" to manifest "structural reform" - the rewriting of American governance which the previous drops have covered.
RAD/DRG hold the unique role within the wider blocking / protest alliance of defining what the new government looks like, presumably because they are made of ex-USAID officers who have specialized in installing new governments. As @MikeBenzCyber last night said on his stream, these DRG members come from the CIA coup parts of USAID.
It's been suggested that DRG is just a fringe group within the much larger blocking/protest ecosystem. This morning's interim video mentioning Mike Smith disproved that. And PART 4 disproves that further - the wider network is well aware of DRG and that its goal is to secure a new government.
They will dress it in the language that it's Trump who will provoke it, and they're only preventing a true Constitutional crisis. In reality, there's a million ways to interpret what a "red line" is, and many ways to get Trump to cross it. Already, articles everywhere are telegraphing that Trump *will* cross it in the form of the Insurrection Act or martial law, softening us up for the coup ahead.
The materials I'm showing you are from a RAD/DRG-ran planning exercise in January 2026. Groups represented by participants include:
· National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A)
· Freedom Trainers / Beautiful Trouble
· Team Democracy
· Federal Workers Alliance for Democracy
· Civil Service Strong
· Project 2029
· Braver Angels
· Indivisible
· Better Together America
· Center for Collaborative Democracy
· Democracy Accelerator
· Paths to Understanding
· Co-Intelligence Institute
· Cohesion Strategy
· Community-Vision Solutions
One of the working groups concerned "National Deliberations" - which lays the groundwork for structural reforms post-crisis. So every single participant in this forum was well aware the end point is rewriting our governance.
Even more interesting, Tanya Alfredson of @BraverAngels participated in this particular working group - which should give pause to anyone who believes Braver Angels simply wants better dialogue.
As you watch the videos, watch out for the code language they use to hint towards the ultimate end goal.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread. 👇

Officially NOT a conspiracy anymore.
This is seditious conspiracy.
She has EXPOSED a coordinated network of ex-USAID officials, former national-security, and NGOs openly planning street chaos + lawfare pressure to force a crisis, remove Trump before January 3rd, and then write the rules of the government that follows.
They’re applying the same color revolution playbooks the U.S. used abroad, on America itself.
Mainstream media is ignoring it, so regular people, YOU are the distribution network.
What’s the single highest-leverage thing an average citizen can do right now?
Consider this Democracy Files 3.5.
Note in the video that they are pretty confident that a "breakthrough" will happen that gets rid of Trump sometime between now and January 3rd, and Mike Smith allegedly acknowledges RAD's role in writing the government that comes after.
Another drop coming later this morning.

there is no catch and that scares me
Elon Musk posted an idea that hit 27 million views:
"stop building startups. buy boring internet real estate and let bots run it"
that's literally what Grok Bot does now. the whole setup costs $0 on top of the sub:
→ create a bot, name it Mogul
→ tell it to find one boring niche people search every day (it reads X and reddit complaints in real time, it's grok)
→ it builds a small directory site on its own computer and ships one useful page every night
→ it negotiates affiliate and referral deals itself, by email, in your name
→ publishing runs on a routine. telegram sends you the money reports
→ month one: traffic. month three: the first $217. it never stops after that
your laptop stays shut. the site grows anyway
every page is a tiny employee that works forever. it compounds like rent
some of them run 3 sites each and haven't opened a single one. they don't post about it, and now you know why
every month you wait, someone's bot ships another 30 pages into the niche you would've picked
full playbook below
bookmark this before someone takes your niche

🔥The is the biggest discovery Data Republican has made. Everyone should be tweeting it over and over again.
Glenn Beck: THE LEFT’S PLAN IS OUT IN THE OPEN. Provoke enough street chaos to force the Insurrection Act, then hand legitimacy to Democratic governors while discrediting the federal response.
DSA operatives are already coordinating with “Governors Safeguarding Democracy” and mayor networks — calmly WAR-GAMING the “DOOMSDAY SCENARIO.”
They’re not reacting. DEMOCRATS ARE ENGINEERING IT.
The gleeful attitude of doing something that will ignite so much chaos—it’s the same when the Left was ecstatic when Charlie Kirk was ass*ssinated. It is the very definition of evil - no conscience, no empathy.
