Olivia Klanac made history in Coastal Carolina’s dominant 103-54 home-opening victory over Johnson, setting a program record with 11 steals as the Chanticleers improved to 2-0.
The 5’9” sophomore guard put together an incredible two-way performance, showcasing her defensive instincts, scoring efficiency, and relentless activity on both ends of the floor.
🔥 21 POINTS • 8 REBOUNDS • 4 ASSISTS • 11 STEALS •
Klanac’s combination of anticipation, quick hands, and scoring ability was on full display. Her ability to jump passing lanes, finish in transition, and get to the line made her the driving force behind Johnson’s 31 turnovers.
A historic points-steals double-double while going a perfect 6-of-6 at the free throw line. Klanac is making an early statement as one of the Sun Belt’s most disruptive defenders! 📈🔥

Luck robs you of becoming as good as they possibly can.
Why?
Because now you THINK you're good... When you just got lucky.
Trust the process.

Can you believe Liv didn't want me to wear this shirt for her grad party?!
It was the main reason I bought it!

The motto in our house is, "Do your best and let God handle the rest."
In sports, and in life, we can only control what WE can control.
She ends every workout w/ 3 no-rim swishes from the free throw line, 1 from the 3-pt & volleyball lines, and a made half-courter. "But she won't shoot half-courters in a game." Maybe. But no matter how the day's workout went, a made half-courter always brings a smile to her face.

Competitive character is making the choice to consistently do what’s hard over doing what’s easy. There’s really no easy path. It takes what it takes. If you choose to do what’s easy, your only chance for success is just to hope that your opponent is lazier & softer than you are!
Congratulations to @OliviaKlanac on being named the 2025 Medina County MVP.
