You’ve been triggered. And you know it. Try and articulate what you say next in a meaningful and logical construct and avoid just charging at me going arrgghh!

Nothing sums up the abject failure of this country and its society in every possible way (legal, political, regulatory) more than the fact that this is happening over 7 years later. The sad thing is we knew nothing would be done at the time.

There's nothing quite like Tory hypocrisy. Laura Trott writes to the government ethics adviser wanting an investigation into a Labour donor given a temporary, unpaid job in the Treasury. After 14 years of unprecedented Tory corruption, Trott should keep quiet. @Conservatives

Electing someone as unqualified and inappropriate as Boris Johnson into senior political office was the biggest act of self harm this country has ever undertaken. A strong sequence of controls are needed urgently to avoid anything like that ever happening again.

Yeah - 3 responses which are the digital equivalent of charging at someone whilst going “aarrggghhh!!” because they’ve been defeated by logical and structured thought processes and have nothing else rational to contribute. We don’t reply to those. Muted.

The final sea shanty of the trilogy 🎶⚓️(an adaptation of #Wellerman and #DrunkenSailor) inspired by @SuellaBraverman's recent speech on migration. We stand and sing in solidarity with a different vision from #Braverman's of what our country stands for & who it should stand by🧡

If you work for GB News, are one of the presenters, one of the paid guests or work within the many layers of channel execs down to floor runners you are working at an organisation that is institutional misogynistic and very very dangerous. The channel last night put the life of their “target” in danger. All for the clicks. Since the murder of Joe Cox it has been abundantly clear that the hate generated for clicks is not understood as that by large sections of the public. They act on signal. Many targeting those they have been groomed to hate. GB News has a litany of gaffs, outright-falsehood and regularly platforms conspiracy theorists. But what happened last night was signed off by a lot of people. All of whom are culpable. I have very little faith in @Ofcom but I have hope the considerable public outcry may put stronger pressure on them than usual.

⁦@michaelsavage⁩ Good article - as always - although was disappointed there wasn’t a section assessing the possibility of criminal charges and jail. Because that 100% should be on the table at this point. theguardian.com/politics/202…

An Indian friend of mine visited India recently. He said there is shock and bemusement in India when ppl there learn that the UK has food banks and how many rely on them. Couple of reactions were along the lines of “there’s a reason to stick with the East, rather than the West”

Full range of responses to this - thanks to all who have contributed. Some responses excellent with thought provoking comments. Some other comments terrible. I’ll let everyone grade themselves….

If you would like to see Stanley Johnson’s knighthood rejected and Boris Johnson recalled. Like this tweet. If you would like to see them both in jail for Domestic Abuse/Fraud. RT this tweet.

Johnson has dropped a bomb on politics, politicians and the very structure we all live under. He's exposed how politics based on honour has failed us, the UK & the European Union ! This should be a wake up call for us all to bring about change to our system that are long overdue.
