i know security people like to think that we’re super special (and in some ways we are), but in a very practical sense security is just the child of quality - which is why a shitty website is an accurate predictor of poor security culture and vulns aplenty.

gentle reminder to journalists: discovery of a vulnerability is not the same as discovery of a breach. conflation of these two terms is still way more common than it should be.
