Something bigger appears to be unfolding at RBC.
First came reports of layoffs across Technology & Operations. Now allegations of another 20% reduction in QTS, with Canadian workers reportedly being targeted while employees in the US, UK and India remain unaffected.
The claims remain unverified, but are we witnessing a fundamental shift in Canada's banking industry, where well paying Canadian banking jobs are quietly being moved overseas for cheaper labour?
What happens to Canada's middle class?
Where is the mainstream media on all of this?
Why aren't more questions being asked about what's happening to Canadian banking jobs?
🚨 Canada’s proposed Safe Social Media Act could require Canadians of ALL AGES to verify their age to access social media, while giving a new government regulator sweeping inspection and enforcement powers.
Significant fines are on the table, with key rules still to be determined.
The Justice Centre is asking Canadians to contact their MPs and the Prime Minister.

BREAKING: Dutch spies hacked Jared Kushner's iPhone and watched him access a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions funneled from Azerbaijan, part of at least $2 billion MBS and MBZ placed for him after he promised to push their agenda with Trump, per a Vanity Fair excerpt.
"Jared was looking for shortcuts in his diplomacy. He promised MBZ that he'd push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a fund. He wanted normalization with Israel so that business could take off," a source who knew the arrangement said.
The money was meant to redraw the region's map and lock in normalization with Israel. Roughly $1 billion of it was deposited in Israel's Central Bank for Kushner, with Netanyahu requiring dual-key approval on any transfers.
The two royals initially discussed more than $10 billion for a shared slush fund. That narrowed to roughly $2 billion deposited into accounts Kushner could access, including roughly $750 million at First Abu Dhabi Bank under a UAE charity used as cover for covert operations.
The reveal comes as Kushner is deeply involved in Iran war diplomacy, where Iran has accused him and Steve Witkoff of pocketing $9 billion through market manipulation, using insider knowledge of the talks to trade oil futures, energy stocks, and prediction markets.

🚨 ANOTHER CANADIAN BANK. MORE LAYOFFS.
Now CIBC employees are reporting layoffs in digital and technology operations, including workers over 50 with more than 20 years of service.
RBC. Now CIBC.
Canadian banks are expanding operations overseas while experienced workers here are losing their jobs.
At what point do we start asking what is happening to Canada's white-collar middle class?

🚨 CANADA'S MIDDLE CLASS IS GETTING SQUEEZED!
76% of Canadians surveyed say groceries are among their biggest financial pressures.
Some are putting groceries on credit cards just to get through the month.
Think about that.
People are working, earning paycheques, yet going into debt just to put food on the table.
Yesterday's middle class is becoming today's working poor.
What happened to the Canadian dream?
🚨 CANADA'S FOOD BANK CRISIS IS BREAKING RECORDS AGAIN!
2.35 MILLION food bank visits in a single month. Up 9% in just one year.
Since 2019, food bank usage has surged 116% nationally and a staggering 156% in Alberta.
But here's the most disturbing part.
People with jobs are now turning to food banks just to survive.
Working, paying taxes, doing everything they were told to do, yet still unable to afford groceries.
When having a job no longer guarantees you can put food on the table, something is fundamentally broken in this country.

Estimate of 6.3 billion annually for Canada's EU Associate membership.
Carney and the liberals are making Canadian taxpayers EU taxpayers.
Financial analysts and policy observers have modeled a potential total cost based on Norway’s framework. Norway pays roughly €869 million annually for its access to European Economic Area (EEA) cooperation and programs. Because Canada's economy is roughly 4.5 times larger than Norway's, a comparable baseline for wide-scale program integration would translate to nearly €4 billion (approx. C$6.3 billion) annually.
There is no annual fee required for Canada to participate in the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA)
