Turnkey is not at risk from the recent npm malware incident. We have confirmed Turnkey DOES NOT use any vulnerable versions of the affected packages.
We are first and foremost a security company, and invest heavily in security throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
In particular, we take an intensive approach to controlling supply chain risk, including:
- Requiring pinned versions with hashlocking for all dependencies to avoid automatic updates to compromised versions
- Security reviews for all dependency updates for our enclave applications
- Regular pentesting, fuzzing, and audits of all critical code
We encourage all developers to ensure they are not relying on a vulnerable library.

🔒 PVP just got a massive security upgrade
PVP now supports 2FA using biometric passkeys (Touch ID/Face ID), which means that once set up, withdraws, transfers, and exports would require biometric authorization. Try /security to enable biometric 2FA now.
In addition, private keys are now fully non-custodial, secured by @turnkeyhq's verifiably secure enclaves. You do not need to do anything - everything has been automatically migrated.
