The more I learn about Madison Square Garden, the more I am amazed at the design / engineering of it. [via cutawayinstinct on IG]

It's all fun & games on the timeline when JK has ONE bad shooting game against Indiana in the preseason, but it ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun when Jonathan Kuminga is shooting 46% from 3 on 5 attempts per game and has a +13 net rating when the real bullets start flying 😂😂😂.

Ayo Dosunmu on getting traded to Minnesota:
"It felt like God was telling me, 'Alright, it's time to grow up. I'm throwing you in the deep end for the first time. You gotta ADAPT or sink.'
And he threw me in with the sharks.
The great white shark, bro.
Ant."

Never forget that Ant Edwards was a struggling rookie under coach Ryan Saunders his first 31 games of his career. Chris Finch was hired mid season under controversy & both Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels got better as rookies and in Anthony Edwards case he took off & flew to the moon.
Ant Edwards stats his first 31 games under Ryan Saunders:
28 minutes per game, 14ppg, 3rpg, 2apg on 37/31/79 splits, TS% 47.
Ant Edwards stats in his next 41 games under Chris Finch in his rookie season:
35 minutes per game, 23 ppg, 5rpg, 3apg on 44/34/77 splits ts% 55
Now just imagine how good Jonathan Kuminga would be right now and where he would stand in this league today if Chris Finch got a hold of him as a rookie. For the love of a God look how he's transformed him after coaching him for just 9 games.
Coaching matters. It always matters. Y'all think Steve Kerr was playing Anthony Edwards 35 minutes a game in year 1? Y'all think Anthony Edwards is where he is at today if Steve Kerr got him at 19??? Yea, how about HELL NO!!!
"Jonathan Kuminga is just doing what Steve Kerr always wanted him to do" Yea right. Y'all so damn funny.

I know it's only been 7 games but the Blazers need to do right by Micah Nori. go ahead and extend him. or restructure his deal – guarantee it fully, give him a raise. something. whatever they can do. he's the guy, and that contract is, as JB Bickerstaff put it, a slap in the face

Insanely good win. Defense carried them thru the sludge of the game and then LaMelo, Kuminga (!!!!) and Gobert just suffocated the hottest team in the league to finish it. Hell yeah.

The most impressive facet of LaMelo Ball's performance: The Rockets put good defenders in front of him, doubled him, and he just burst right past them to the rim over and over. A lot of toughness in that 4th quarter.

LaMelo Ball’s reaction after seeing Rudy Gobert get the bucket. Gotta love it.
