Beautiful little Wolf Spider on @DWTBrownsea Pardosa Sp. - apparently difficult to ID even with microscope! - possibly P. amentata ? (Black hairs on pedipalps a clue, but don't know if diagnostic?) @BritishSpiders @georgecmcgavin

Many of these Black-tailed Godwits will have spent the winter in Portugal, France and Spain (with some from UK). Southern birds are using a cunning 'overtake' plan to get to iceland early. More here: wadertales.wordpress.com/201…
More and more Icelandic Bl.t.#godwits during monthly Waddensea-transect count. Today 2.522 #grutto's new record for March near Normerven, Wieringen, Nths. @waderquest @Waderworld1 @WaderStudy @ForWaders @vogelnieuws @WadersForReal @Sovon @DZK_deWadden @waddentweets @WaddenNieuws

Tracked down to Lancs - ringed as a chick 2023 or 2024 (we need to get a reading on the flag) and hanging out with this 2024 Sussex Avocet @DWTBrownsea @BrownseaNT @DorsetBirdClub @SightingDOR
Can anyone help with this Avocet on @DWTBrownsea? Best I could do as in deep water, and hopefully someone can get a better view and read the flag. Looks similar to the UK scheme but can't find an exact match? @GrahamFAppleton @PetePotts7 @WWTworldwide @_BTO @WaderStudy

Turnstone bathing in the sun - we recently had a ring recovery locally of a bird ringed in Alert Alaska, about 4000km to the North, where it's -33c this time of year @GrahamFAppleton @waderquest @WaderStudy @Waderworld1 @_BTO

Dorset is a top county for these 3 heathland birds. Please take the opportunity in this once-in-a-generation survey by signing up for 1 or 2 of our 100s of squares. Surveying is a great way to discover new sites, enjoy our fabulous county and contribute to citizen science.

If I were forced to pick one scene in Lynch's run that encapsulates his art (which is impossible), my pick is the Llorando sequence in Mulholland Drive. Even in the dark of our nightmares, the beauty and pain of art can reach us, even if that art is built on nightmares itself.
