Was very honored to present my PhD work on the improved genome assembly of the equine bloodworm at #AAVP2024. I had many wonderful discussions with friends and colleagues. Many thanks to my advisor @MartinKNielsen, my committee, and mentor @stephenrdoyle for your guidance!

Thanks to contributions from an excellent committee, we have these guidelines a complete overhaul. Lots of new stuff in here.

Nice road trip down to Tennessee to visit our friend and collaborator, Dr. Craig Reinemeyer. We had a great time tossing crazy research ideas (Dr. R. calls them brain farts) back and forth. We need to do this more often!

My colleagues in Alberta, Canada are setting out to do some excellent and important research in the much underrepresented field of equine parasitology. Please help them by sharing this survey, if you have connections within #Alberta
Are you an Alberta horse owner? Is so, please consider contributing to our @ucalgaryvetmed study on parasite management practices in the province. The survey takes ~15-20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed here: survey.ucalgary.ca/jfe/form/…
