If you’re actively trying to stop AI development, you’re my enemy and an enemy of humanity.
I consider what you’re doing a direct attack on humanity’s future.
Every disease that could have been cured, every life that could have been saved, every person who could have escaped poverty.
Every opportunity lost is a direct consequence of your actions, and those lives are on your shoulders.
You’re willing to sacrifice all of that because you’re terrified of progress.
I have absolutely zero tolerance for this.
Your movement deserves to be politically defeated, intellectually dismantled, and remembered as one of the greatest obstacles to human progress in history.
Another interesting group of patients for you to focus on would be those w fluoroquinolone-associated disability (FQAD) & compare w your other cohorts. What do you think @JackHadfield14 any of these patients in the data yet/are you guys aiming to recruit these patients also?
“What really excites me about Amatica is its boldness. With its vision of gathering 1,000s of samples, it’s aiming big, and the time is ripe for bold visions. The ME/CFS and long-COVID fields have produced and will continue to produce scintillating results, but without major studies involving large numbers of participants, they will move forward at a pace unacceptable to anyone with these diseases.”

Happy Halloween to the people who are suffering from ME/CFS - the biggest medical scandal of the 21st Century.
Why is ME/CFS not included in this!!???
Funding basic science that advances our understanding of menopause, endometriosis, and other women’s health issues is important—but we can do more.
Our new NIH Women’s Health Division will work in concert with the White House Women’s Health Task Force to translate findings from basic studies into cutting-edge solutions that help American women live longer, healthier lives.
So glad the “Chinese Communist Party” doesn’t run USA TikTok anymore…. 🙄 Please let’s get more billionaires like Larry Ellison to control all things people see and know…this is what true Freedom is! Fake freedom USA baby
🚨 BREAKING: TIKTOK APPEARS TO HAVE BANNED ALL CONTENT ON PEPTIDES
"BPC-157", "RETATRUTIDE", AND OTHER COMMON PEPTIDE TERMS ARE NOW YIELDING ZERO RESULTS

Or in the case of ME/CFS over half a century and counting…
Karan Singhal of @OpenAI on why new clinical guidelines can take 5 to 17 years to reach everyday doctors, and why he wants to compress that to days or even hours:
"You basically have a bunch of people writing papers, biomedical papers of various kinds, suggesting improvements or treatments. And then you have this yearly process across different specialties of building clinical guidelines."
"These clinical guidelines are roughly, you can consider them kind of flowcharts... that describe roughly what you should do in different scenarios based on the latest research."
"So you have the biomedical literature, you have the clinical guidelines, and then you have what do people actually do in practice. The final step, it turns out, is a massive bottleneck."
"People have found that this takes, depending on the study, like 5 to 17 years for that penetration to actually happen. You don't wanna be practicing medicine 5 to 17 years behind."
"One of the things that we think about is how do you compress that kind of period of practicing in the past down to weeks or days or even hours."
@thekaransinghal @JayRughani
Too often the nicest people are the ones who get totally FUCKED in life…makes you wonder what kinda sick world this is…and lots of spiritual and religious realm questions here too…uncomfortable to think abt….best advice be a narcissistic selfish asshole and be well!
💯
Wow! After so many years, the mitochondria-centric view of disease is actually starting to gain ground.
Of course everybody will miss the simple solution to the problem:
"Grow trillions of new mitochondria in a bioreactor..."
"Pump them the elderly body until it has the same quality and quantity it had when younger..."
FDA needs to approve this asap
A major milestone for Clene: We’ve submitted an NDA to the FDA seeking accelerated approval of investigational CNM-Au8® for ALS.
Thank you to the patients, families and partners who helped make this step possible.

"Mathematicians did not ask for this work to be done."
then what exactly were mathematicians doing? solving math problems for fun on public funds?
People are fckn nuts! Seeing people being mad abt long unsolved math problems being solved by AI is insane…humans and their fckn egos I swear…finding solutions to problems of all sorts is a good thing no matter where it comes from. Loose your fckn egos!!
Agree w this…
Another blow to the hypothesis that persistent spike protein may be behind the #LongCovid symptoms:
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4284…
In my view the same will eventuelly happen to the "persistent virus" hypothesis.
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4284…
The problem I face is truly IMPOSSIBLE to know what to do with and decision is awful torturous existence either way or forced death…

There is zero point trying to simulate a cell from the ground up.
Measure every protein, over time, perfectly. You still won't get a cell. You'll get a hypothesis of one.
We have AGI today. It is about as bad at curing disease as we are.
That shouldn't surprise anyone. AGI can do what a human can do, and humans can't solve biology because we can't see its complexity all at once.
The only shot at way more cures was always what we now call superintelligence.
Superintelligence needs super sensing.
Don't make AI rebuild the cell from parts. Let it watch the real thing, signal and noise, and it will find the sense in both.
Let AI surpass our understanding of a cell. If we keep aiming for "as smart as humanity," we forget there's something beyond human intelligence, and that it can help us if we let it
This is exactly what happens in ME/CFS as well less the tau. As I’ve said science virtually ignoring mito for so long has resulted in untold numbers of deaths and suffering
Any thoughts on this? Not sure if simply blocking RET will work but the general outlined mechanisms are what should have been focused on all along for so many diseases… @PathfinderEq
