Big day coming for me on 16th June - second book launches in three formats. If you read the first one and it put you off Scottish nightclubs, you better brace yourself for what’s going on in that spinning red room…

Today’s gig hilarity. Half way through set three a guy walks right up on to the stage and says, ‘Wait guys, stop playing.’ And then walks past everyone - starts to look behind the amp and drum kit. I asked him what he was looking for. ‘I need salt for ma chips’ he says…🤦♂️🤣
Played a 3 set gig at the Haddington show last night. Going back to the stage for the third set, a girl started speaking to me. I told her I couldn’t stop as I was in the band and about to go on. ‘Hope you’re better than that last band then, they were sh!te!’ She said. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not been very active here of late but here’s why. Third book finished and ready to go. There will now be a brief pause as I query the bejesus out of it…

My dark fantasy novel, set in Wales, has a neurodivergent main character and an excellent Kirkus review.☺️
This week marks its 2nd birthday, which coincides with #downsyndromeawarenessmonth

Some pics of Rosslyn Chapel from the other day. The Holy Grail and Tom Hanks weren’t available. And I wasn’t allowed to take any photos inside - I took a bollocking for even having my phone out! 🤣🤣 Beautiful place though.
This is what the sunflowers at Balgone farm get up to at night.

How not to publish your sequel: a thread 🧵
Pay for a book cover before you’ve finished your final edit.
Lose your designer to the void.
Forget you even need a page count for the spine.
Guess who did all three? 😂👇
