The era of Treasury "money glitch" (cheap debt/equity arbitrage) is OVER.
Investors have made it clear: to justify a premium in 2026, they demand treasuries that offer utility and yield, not merely passive exposure.
"The bull case is just a hope, while the bear case is an accounting certainty."
Maestro CEO @MarvinDefi doesn't sugarcoat the math. In the latest feature from
@Cointelegraph, he breaks down the structural risks facing Strategy’s Bitcoin model as we head into 2026.
While others look at the narrative, Marvin looks at the balance sheet 👀
Bitcoin can earn REAL interest from miners.
Out of block production, not token incentives.
Facility live today:
- Borrower: Sazmining, a private miner.
- Collateral: first-lien on the hardware plus pledged BTC.
- Rate: 9% BTC APY
Debt and revenue are both in BTC.
Aligned incentives reduce risk.
Bitcoin Markets in Action.
Holy molly 😅
For allocators who want their Bitcoin working without leaving the Bitcoin standard, here’s where the Bitcoin Solver vault stands today.
Yield paid in BTC, sourced from solver liquidity. Variable.
DM for details.
APY shown is historical and variable. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Not an offer, solicitation, or investment advice. Eligibility restrictions apply.
I've been to Token2049 for a few years now, and this year was the best.
The industry is maturing; I'm talking to far more fintech professionals and far fewer devs.
I love engineering; that's where I comes from, but the industry is finally embracing tradfi and attracting smart money.
Real-world capital markets and credit markets manage trillions of $.
The onchain "great migration" is beginning, and nothing stops that train.

Our Bitcoin Solver processed 15+ BTC in the last 24 hours.
Every trade pays the liquidity providers behind it.

@MarvinDefi is meeting allocators, miners, and teams building on Bitcoin.
If you want to connect on miner-secured credit or institutional BTC yield, DM us.
If you think Bitcoin has no yield, you're wrong.
Miners turn energy into Bitcoin.
Energy is the yield source.
=> Monetized electrons.
I can't think of a better yield.
Bitcoin is the energy dollar.
We're in the "awkward" phase of AI, where agents are smart enough to make you lazy but dumb enough to turn an organization into a vibe-coding zombie if humans don't actively manage it.
What will happen when AIs become smarter than any manager/executives? I forecast self-sustaining AI "ghost companies" producing goods and services and competing against human-led companies
I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.

Much API.
Many blocks.
Very open source.
The Maestro Dogecoin Developer API is now public.
To the Doge community that built with us, tested with us, and stuck with us: thank you.
Now it’s yours.
Such repo. Very wow.

BTC-backed USD loans are a horrible idea!
Stop lending dollars against Bitcoin.
To compound Bitcoin, lend Bitcoin.
In a bull:
- USD lenders miss the Bitcoin appreciation
- BTC lenders compound the appreciation plus the interest
In a bear:
- The USD borrower's collateral falls, risking BTC liquidation
- The BTC borrower isn't exposed to margin calls
That is Mezzamine credit: Bitcoin lent to miners, paid back in Bitcoin.
For everyone who keeps asking me how Mezzamine Miner Credit works, here are the docs.
Mining secures Bitcoin. Bitcoin should finance mining.
We published the full Mezzamine docs: how the facilities work, what collateralizes them, how the hedges hold, and how yield is paid. In BTC, end to end.
Built to be underwritten.

Bitcoin yield that pays in Bitcoin.
From real work, no margin calls.
Here's how.
Lend BTC to the people who produce it. Miners.
1) Miner posts hardware + a BTC reserve as first-lien collateral
2) Borrows BTC to purchase more machines
3) New machines mine BTC
4) Block rewards repay the loan, in BTC
Debt asset matches revenue asset. So when BTC price drops:
- Debt payments don't get more expensive
- Debt doesn't grow against the BTC pledged. No price-triggered liquidation
This is live today, with a real fleet running on it.
Both miner and lender stay long Bitcoin.
Bitcoin in. Bitcoin out.
It's here, open-source. Have fun.

The Liquid negotiation ran through OP_RETURN. Public terms. PGP when they needed privacy. Signatures anyone can check.
The field people called junk became the only room both sides trusted.
Nobody chose OP_RETURN because it's cheap. They chose it because there's no admin who can mute it, no server that can be subpoenaed into deleting it, no thread that quietly disappears. Email, Slack, a DM, all of it deniable. A signed OP_RETURN isn't.
The discussion between @Blockstream and the white-hat hacker (WHH) regarding the ~4000 BTC from @Liquid_BTC is happening in public. It seems to be their preference over email. As it's hard to follow the chain of messages in OP_RETURN, here's a summary with links.
11:30 AM PDT - WHH: "we are whitehats. contact us on chain"

8:27 PM PDT - WHH: "Please fix the bug first. The chain is under risk at latest commit right now. Make sure every node is patched. Then we will transfer the money back safely after confirming the fix." [+ PGP-encrypted details to Blockstream]

Every Bitcoin yield instrument today kinda sucks.
These are the choices:
> 1) Borrow against it.
Post BTC, take a dollar loan, deploy in Defi.
Problem: the yield is in USD, price drop triggers liquidations
> 2) Stake it.
Lock BTC to secure some random chain.
Problem: Yield from token incentives that never last
> 3) Trade the basis.
Long spot, short the future, collect spread.
Problem: complex and only works in certain market conditions
There is another way. Imagie a Bitcoin yield that
· Earns in BTC, auto-compounding
· Paid by real economic activity
· No liquidation risk, no margin calls
I'll answer in the next post.
