#Explosive violence, shifting frontlines and #landmines are deepening #Yemen’s #maternity crisis. More than 13,000 pregnant women are currently unable to access maternal health services, while only 5 of 27 emergency maternal and newborn care hospitals remain even partially functioning, @UNFPAYemen has warned.

#Landmines do not only threaten roads or remote areas. In #Yemen, they can be found between homes, behind residential buildings, in courtyards and on the paths families use every day, cutting entire communities off from safe movement even within their own neighbourhoods.
