The best maps have no roads but rail, just gotta get this framed now. Not sure I'd include NJ, Delaware, and MD among the "central states" but who am I to quibble with 1871?

That thing where it's your first #trbam as a committee chair and you arrive early to the room and worry that no one else will show up.
Related: come to the Light Rail committee at 1:30 in Mint (M4)! We'll have the usual business as well as a great presentation from @trnsprtst #trbam
Bonus if you're under 35, we're always looking for young members--that's how I got started, and heaven help us, I'm leading the committee now #TRBAM
Make Colorado more Albertan. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Sadly I didn't realize you needed to register to be eligible to get write-in votes, but I'll still be writing myself in for District C (I wouldn't hate a couple extra uncountable votes if you're so inclined)
New: half of the @RideRTD board seats on the ballot have only write-in candidates. At a time when metro Denver’s sprawling transit agency faces historic challenges, few people stepped up to run for its board.
For this story, I probed why that is.

Even though they're well inside the lines, @DenBicycleLobby can I get an over/under on how long until drivers have crushed most of these?
Honest question: shouldn't the posts go where the lines are painted so this actually narrows the roadway? These are only about 24" from the gutter, so this entire design really only reduces the road width by 4 feet.
Hey @CityofEvanston you might want to get your house in order. Probably don't want to be the last thing named after John Evans cpr.org/2022/10/06/mount-eva…
Has any other agency struggled to even get candidates for the board the way RTD is?
The only competitive RTD race in Denver is no longer competitive. Steven Gibson told me today he's pulled out of the race, which means @RuschaWrites is the lone candidate in District B (she's a write-in).
I'm so glad @DenverDOTI didn't water down the plans for the Perry St bikeway. These new stencils will definitely slow drivers down and keep people safe. It's finally obvious that bikes have priority here--just ignore the unfettered free parking on both sides of the street
Fun @POTUS bait at InnoTrans
My German is non-existent, but I think Berlin has a little park with kid-sized streets where they can learn to bike and how to follow traffic signals?
If anyone wants to write me in for the RTD District C seat this November (replacing @AMalpiede) I wouldn't be upset...
