I also don't like the #Goog chart here.
May end up like FB.
Are you ready to meet $GOOGL at $275?
Earnings on Oct 28. Probably strong numbers.
So were Meta's. The stock fell ~8%.
Alphabet reports with the same AI capex questions and a death cross on the chart.
📉 Price lost the $340-350 zone, which is now resistance
📉 Death cross just printed: the 50 MA slipped under the 200 MA
📉 Next real support is the $275 range low, about 14% below $320
Will you buy $GOOGL after earnings?
🟢 Yes, on the dip
🔴 No, too risky
During the worst Novembers in history like 1929, 2000 & 2008 the Market was only down 7%.
So that's your risk.
November is usually a good month for stocks and most bad November bad months are only down a bit.
Could a bust in the #AI Bubble this Nov be like November 2000 (−8.01%): This drop was fueled by the bursting of the Dot-com bubble, as heavily overvalued tech stocks collapsed and dragged the broader indices down with them.
The only way we can have a big drop in November is if we have an #AI crash similar to the Internet Bubble crash of 2000.
The only way we can have a big drop in November is if we have an #AI crash similar to the Internet Bubble crash of 2000.
According to historical data tracked by platforms like Morningstar, November is up roughly 74% of the time over the last 50 years, averaging a 2.09% gain. Only September stands out historically as the only calendar month that averages a net-negative return over the long haul.
The market is designed to make money for those who hold the best big caps/funds for the long term.
Other than that trading is like gambling and if you want to be successful long term you better be good at trading.
I don't believe any Retail Traders who say they make millions.
There was only one Big Cap stock that did well after hours.
I bought 500 shares of $SPCX for a trade and made around $500. profit
Anyone who says the make million is full of BS.
Beware they're trying to scam you.
If someone gave you a Billion $ to invest.
You would have to put it in the best Big Cap stocks for the long term.
You can't trade it.
I can't even trade $100,000. in and out in most stocks.
After hours was kind of dull for Big Caps.
The only trade I could find was on $SPCX .
I made around $500.
There were no other big cap moves.
Monday the new auto money comes in and it should last into Tuesday and there's lots of bargains out there.
If the market doesn't bounce that would be a bad sign.
If Nov turns out worse than Oct that too would be a surprise.
Trader Brian Jones retweeted
I bought some $AMZN here over night at $226.
Could bounce from it's capitulation?
With this kind of capitulation in #AI indidual stocks you would think the market would be down 10% but it's only down less than 3%.
I think what $INTC might do is swish a spike lower after the open and then maybe the worse is over for today?
The question is how low will it spike?
No one knows and it most likely will go lower than it's opening price.
Record setting drops on Big Caps not seen since 1987.
$INTC down 29% from yesterday.
Big caps were only down 22% in crash of1987.
I don't trade very well with overnight trading.
I think it's because it's so volatile with little liquidity and they love to drop stocks for no reason just to take out any one with tight mental stops.
Then they bring it right back higher.
I'm trading $AMZN right now.
3 trillion dollar company.
1 share on the ask and 1 share on the bid.
That's pathetic.
What a loser overnight trading can be.
Basically ZERO liquidity for even 3 Trillion market caps.
