$QUBIC is not only about AI research. It also runs a game: My Last Match, a hardcore survival MMORPG built on Unreal Engine 5, whose closed beta has just passed the 100 day mark. The setting: Western Europe in the 1990s, after a catastrophe called Day Zero. The project is led by Sergey Ivancheglo, the architect of Qubic, and a small team based in Cyprus. Why does it matter for the ecosystem? In most games, our items don't really belong to us. They live on the publisher's servers. In My Last Match, they are bound to the player's Qubic wallet, and every transfer carries an ID that anyone can check on the Qubic Explorer. Another key point: no gas fees. When thousands of players act at the same time, every action has to stay fast and free. That is exactly the kind of load Qubic was designed for. The stated goal: 50,000 concurrent players. A persistent world, where every consequence is permanent, is also a powerful real world test for a network. Honesty check: the game is still in closed beta, and the team openly chooses not to publish a fixed roadmap. It is not a finished product, it is a living project. But it shows one thing: Qubic is not just a technical promise. People are already building on it, tick by tick.

Did I already mention that in My Last Match, with the Match Lords clan, dividends can reach you even if you don’t play? Match Lords is a clan that holds assets inside the survival game and sells services, and the revenue from those operations goes on-chain. The split they have published is this: 70% to anyone holding $ML, 15% to the clan’s active players, and the rest to buybacks, smart-contract shareholders, and reinvestment. A non-player does not have to loot, hold a safehouse, or even enter the map. They hold the token and sit on the holder share. A clan player can also take the 15% from operations. You can be one, the other, or both. Where the revenue comes from? Not from a minted reward token. From things someone in a hardcore survival game actually pays for: transport and convoys, escort, vehicle repair, the reanimation van, the mobile workbench, PvP contracts, and mercenary work for other clans. Fees and spoils go back to the treasury, then distribution is automatic. And this is the point. Not everything is switched off, waiting for full release. Assets are coming online step by step, and the ones already live — qMine, qPay, and the others already operating — are already paying dividends. The rest switches on as it goes.
